I hear you. Sure there will be more options in time. Just placed my order with Discount tire direct, went with 5 KM KM544, satin gray with black lip with 37" Nitto Ridge Grappler. In the past I've run Cooper STT Pros and was thinking I'd like less aggressive. Was thinking of the Falken AT3W...
Similar situation here. Getting ready to order 37s and wheels for my JTR. I have a full size spare on my JKU and have in almost 200k miles....knock on wood, never needed the spare other than in the 5 tire rotation.
So my dilemma was..do I need a full size spare or will the factory 33 get me...
I ordered them just as margin of error. Everyone says stock is tight but long enough. I ordered them to put them on when I can. I ordered EVO extended brakelines. I ordered them from Northridge 4x4, they were 75.00 an axle which seemed reasonable enough and are rated for 2-5" of lift.
Here are...
The color definitely grew on me. When I first saw it I was like...nahh. But after looking at it a bit it clicked.
How does your JT handle the 40s with stock axles? 4.10 gears?
Mine is getting a list of items
3.0" RockKrawler kit
Synergy tie rod, draglink, and track bar brace
EVO extended...
So stoked guys!! Got all my lift parts now, THANKS ROCKKRAWLER!!! So here is my pile of parts...just waiting for my JTR. Only things that haven't come in yet are my Synergy Trackbar and sector shaft brace and MBRP high clearance exhaust. Got everything else...for now...LOL.
Rock Krawler 3.0" 'no...
Here is the link for the brace. Helps stabilize the steering box and front track bar mount.

I've spoke with guys at RockKrawler and new driveshafts are not needed as well as longer...
You will be very happy with this set up. I have the same lift coming for my JTR and I also have the heavy duty draglink and Tie rod as well as Synergy's Tracbar and sector shaft brace. I have the stabilizer relocation kit and a fox dampener as well. I can tell you the Synergy Tierod is awesome...
RockKrawler
Is there any particular grease you recommend for the new style crawler joints. I know you said #1 or #2. So basically any synthetic lithium grease except red and tacky?
I ordered my JTR in a manual as I have the 6 spd in my JKU. My JKU is on 37s with 4.88 axles. After talking with many people especially of my plans with my JT, I switched my order to the auto. The generally concensus is if you are keeping your truck relatively stock you will keep whatever...
Something I should add is yes...the open joint requires more maintenance but the higher the performance of a part, generally, the higher the maintenance. Factory joints can last nearly forever but that is why the manufacturer uses them as well as cost.
So in essence there is a trade off...
I have had RockKrawler on my JK for over 8 years. I've rebuilt my joints once but my JK has almost 200K on it. Need to keep in mind that Rock Krawler is located in upstate NY. They know the Northeast weather. This is no different then your shock absorbers. Regular articulation and greasing of...
I'll volunteer my JTR if you like. I should have it by the end of Jan/early Feb if not earlier. I can drive up to you guys as it is only about a 2.5 hour drive from me.. I'm in Northeast PA close to the tristate corner, Pa, New York, New Jersey. PM me if you guys are interested
When I ordered my Gladiator my son asked...why didn't you order an F150 or F250 for the money. I told him because I didn't want one...end of story. I didn't buy my Gladiator because I needed a capable pickup truck. If a fully capable heavy duty truck was what I needed...that is what I would of...
I'm waiting for my JTR to arrive. But I have no lack of parts waiting to go it. I'm putting RockKrawler's 3.0 Pro-X 'no limits' Stage 1 lift on it and a set of 37s.
Planning on installing a set of Black Rock Viper wheels in matte black with a Cooper STT pros. My JTR is sting gray with black...
I can't speak for the Falken MTs but I have several sets of Falken AT3w running on vehicles in my family. In various sizes. The largest in on my son's F150, those are 315/70/17. Have seen no issues. Excellent highway ride, excellent snow/ice performance. Aggressive sidewalls make them a great...
