Don't let little things like the 120v outlet stop an otherwise good buy. There is plenty of aftermarket support. Hell, that one is as easy as adding an inverter. I have found 400w to be lacking anyway and will eventually add something larger, likely off a secondary battery.
Agree. Not saying I wouldn't do it. Just saying I wouldn't tell the internet I'm doing it. People have been getting gestapo visits. Mostly performing the service or selling parts, but be careful these days.
Absolutely zero chance I'd go for a 4xe. First, Jeep is not known for their electronic prowess. My pass door thinks it's open when it rains, my garage doors sometimes randomly open and close from the opener in the truck, and the stereo sometimes won't work and often won't connect to bluetooth...
This. The pressure sensor would stop the clutch from engaging with very little loss of pressure. You are condensing and evaporating a liquid/gas, so there is some noise to be expected during that process.
I sincerely doubt you will get those tires installed on those rims. Most decent shops won't install tires on rims that are not within the tire specs, and those won't be. Those wheels just won't work. WAY too wide.
I have never in my life cared about payload weight so long as the suspension can handle it. I have seen it mentioned a lot over the years. This is not my first off road vehicle. Not my second. I have been doing this a long time. That has never been an issue for myself or anyone I have ever...
Love mine. It can wheel and haul all your gear and some of your buddies' to camp. It also hauls dead animals and weekend project supplies. Fits a small ATV in the bed while towing my SxS. Perfect for what we do. I haul the family and dog all over. I will never own a minivan.
Metalcloak track bar and MT MTZ 37x12.50. It fits with room. I think I can fit a 38. I absolutely won't keep a spare under there off road though. I keep it on my rack when I am headed out. I had it under once and it drags the sidewall over steep drop offs.
I'm at about the same. I have a couple low from when I had a bad rod end on my drag link and had some wobble until I got it all figured out and fixed. I think you could get 60k out of a set if you are set up well and rotate. Been really happy with them and will be buying more of their tires.
Boric acid is good. Also I REALLY like permetherin. You can get the concentrate from Tractor Supply or similar that makes about 5 gallons for $15. Works to keep ants from the kitchen in the spring. Also can dilute it down and spray all your outdoor clothing. After it dries you get about 8...
I prefer the front locker and non-scoop hood as well. I have used mine quite a bit. Alu knuckles are not ideal, but they will be changed when I do ball joints and shafts.
I would not buy the ones on the Bronco. They wear quickly, are not true MTs, and they pick up Every. Single. Rock. On the road. I have never had MT or AT that is as bad. I have rock chips all over the Bronco even with mud flaps.
