  1. Washington V2 Pro GFC Camper : SW Washington

Congratulations to your wife. Getting in is the hardest part, and despite how everything is changing in the field, it’s worth it in the end.
  2. SS3 max fog problems

I know I’m reviving a very old thread, but the same issue has been happening to me with my DD SS3 max fogs. This thread has given me a bit of insight. I always drive with my start stop off and they turn off on me, especially when turning. My theory is that it is probably the power steering...
  3. Intermittent high pitch whine coming from under the hood

You’ll get used to the sounds soon enough and know what normal sounds like. The truck makes a LOT of different sounds and it usually isn’t prudent to chase them down. Just turn up your music and enjoy the truck. I wouldn’t worry unless a sound starts to get louder over time or is accompanied by...
  4. Intermittent high pitch whine coming from under the hood

Yes, completely normal. Both of the gladiators I have owned have made that sound since the day I got them. The next time a random JL Wrangler or Gladiator pass by you in the Target parking lot, listen for it; I guarantee you will hear it.
  5. Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/T Better Than Baja Boss A/T?

Let us know how the Mickey Thompson mud tires do off-road. I’m considering them vs. the AT
  6. Determining tension of parking brake cable?

I’m guessing I’ll need to put it on jack stands to adjust using the star adjuster right?
  7. WesleyPipes' Build Thread

Thanks for the duck at the Fred Meyer! Just moved here last month. Let me know if you plan on camping/wheeling anytime and need a buddy!
  8. Another Cam bites the dust...

Probably a dumb question but would a Blackstone oil analysis report be helpful to determine whether this or not this issue could be present? The pentastar is fairly noisy at baseline and it’s hard to tell if my tick is a bad tick from other people’s videos.
  9. Determining tension of parking brake cable?

I guess I answered my own question. Just ensure there’s a small amount of slack when the lever is disengaged.
  10. Determining tension of parking brake cable?

I tightened up my parking brake tensioner under the center console so now my brake works again. How can I tell if I’ve put too much tension on the cable? I don’t want to be driving around having the drum brakes engaged with the parking brake lever all the way down. I tightened it then backed...
  11. Roof Top Tent on Cab Area Specficially

No, you’re right; a lot of people with JLs have RTTs on gutter-mounted roof racks. You could probably get away with it using a light RTT on a gutter rack that distributes the load over large lengths of the gutters and you don’t take it off-road at all. Still a gamble though. I bet those guys...
  12. Roof Top Tent on Cab Area Specficially

Most roof racks for the JT and JL attach using the rain gutters which wouldn’t be suitable for the dynamic weight of a RTT. The hardtop is made of fiberglass and I wouldn’t feel comfortable mounting any significant amount of weight to it. There are a couple of roof rack systems that bypass the...
  13. Making a snorkel fit for the Mojave

thanks this is reassuring! What model of the safari did you use?
  14. Making a snorkel fit for the Mojave

How did this work out for you? Did you figure out the issue with the larger inner gap? ARB has different models of the Safari snorkel for different trucks; which one did you use and would you use it again?
  15. Bedside integrated on-board air

I’d love to see someone do this with that new driver side plastic bed panel we’re seeing in the 2025 models.
  16. MetalCloak rear sway bar bracket and RockBlokz flaps

I’ve been eyeing/putting off this for a while. I really need to get my rear rokblokz on. What would you guys recommend using to make the cut?
  17. Rear Seat Delete w/o A Storage System?

to answer your question, yes, I have done this without a seat delete system. It’s good for indiscriminately packing a bunch of stuff back there without worrying about keeping stuff upright but otherwise it sucks. Can barely fit a fridge appropriately. You’ll want the flat load floor.
  18. OVS Expedition Cap - How hot will this get?

I have an alucab contour and it does get pretty toasty in there. Depending on how much you’ve sealed up your tailgate and how often you’re driving around. Also remember the hot exhaust pipe runs under down the left side’s length of the bed. Personally, I’d put my fridge in the cab. or get a...
  19. Alu-Cab Contour Canopy Roll Call - not Camper

What bracket did you use to mount your Flex Era 1’s?
  20. Ecoflow alternator charger install

When doing your wiring, did you guys connect the negative cable directly to your negative battery terminal, or did you wire it to ground? and at what minimum voltage did you set it to begin charging?
