Had installed N-Fab Predator Pro steps. Not a fan. The driver side front step is set too far forward for me, they show too much of the pinch seam, and there are only three mount points instead of the four stock hardware uses. I was able to get it a little closer to the body and a little higher...
Seems like all of the side steps I find are straight, don't come up high enough to cover the pinch weld, and leave a lot of room at the back.
I have n-fab predator pro steps and I like how light they are, but I can't deal with poorly they cover the pinch seam and don't conform to the truck...
No drone at highway speeds. There is a grown sometimes at lower speeds but it's always just when you're on the gas. Cruising around it sounds stock.
Did not notice any power increase. It does seem like the truck wants to rev higher when you get on the gas, but it certainly didn't make me go any...
Figured I'd try out one of these fancy intakes to get a little more rumble, but it's loud when you get on it. Like, silly loud.
Not sure I'll keep it, but I'll give it a week or two and see.
I use AZDOME M550 3 Channel Dash Cam.
The interior camera gets a decent amount of vision out the back, but it also has a camera that you can run to the back of the truck and get much better rear vision.
When taking the top off, the interior camera works great to get vision of the exterior.
Also...
Installed a sunrider that @Dr Feelgood sold me. Wanted to test it out, make sure everything works before putting the freedom panels back in for winter lol. Thing is pretty loud once you get past 40mph. Like, significantly noticeable. But, it's still nice to be able to open the top without...
Do the AJT fobs become a problem if you ever need to lock/unlock storage areas? Does carrying the key separate but attached to the fob take up as much or more space than the standard fob, or cause problems putting it in/taking it out of pockets (if it hangs at an angle)? I've heard people say...
got a great deal on these, so I installed the rugged ridge window visors. Only ones I could find that were matte black and I think they look...fine.
Functionality is great at least. Now I can crack my window in the rain or snow
Not sure what you mean. The bolts that connect the hard top to the roll bar, that are only able to be accessed with the freedom panels off?
What other tool would I need?
I've been lucky as to not need those since I carry around a battery powered ratchet so having the bolt covers actually takes me more time to get the top off.
I still really want them though, they look so good!
I have a Zesuper winch, same one I think, just black with orange cable. It's been working fine but I haven't had to do anything crazy with it. Pulls my wrangler just fine, and rips trees and bushes out without stressing it :P
I think the worst with these is the limit on how long you can run it...
Do you mean the holes that are for the plastic pieces in the hard top? the ones without threads?
Napa has a few options that might fit but I don't have measurements to see if there's anything online somewhere that would work
