I’ve since ended up with a whole flock of ducks from the time I started this thread. I’ve actually taken to leaving some of them on various jeeps that catch my eye cause they’re cluttering my dash.

So anyway, there’s drama in anything if you look for it. when I get those offers I simply ignore them altogether or just say “no thanks” and move on with my life. OTOH…

Deploy both sun visors several times before you go. Don’t be surprised if they break right then and there. . . ?

Not to be obtuse but I really don’t see the point in getting wound up about any of that. It’s not personal. Dealerships make cold calls like that all the time to everybody. I look at it like getting junk mail in my spam folder. . .

That’s neat but the issue for me is the weight of the tent since I have no one handy to help. Undoing the nuts and bolts is a snap with with a power ratchet.

I like your setup but it won’t work for me as my garage ceiling is too low.

I have thought about those.I’ll probably end up buying one eventually…
