I’m stuck with this same decision. I’ve had 37s on my automatic Overland with 3.73 gears for several months, and it’s killing me. My Jeep has forgotten it had an 8th gear.
There’s a very slight possibility I may upgrade to 38s down the road, but I will never go bigger than that. I’m at sea...
I called my local off-road shop today to see about regearing and installing a set of Katzkins. The guy is a Jeeper and my local Jeep club vouches for his knowledge. He suggested Ruff Tuff as an alternative to the Katzkins, but I have never heard of that company.
Anyone running Ruff Tuff seats...
I still don’t see many in my part of eastern N.C. I see a few more at the coast when we’re down there a few times per month.
There aren’t many days when I don’t get a positive comment from someone about my Jeep.
Still enjoying my Overland. I’ll be regearing to 4.88 or 5.13 soon, and I’ll be done unless I can find a Rubicon or Mojave hood for a decent price. (I don’t want the decals, but I especially love the Mojave hood scoop.)
I'm sure it has been said, but I'm not reading through a 12-page thread to find out:
No one ever bought 37s and said, "Man, I wish I had purchased 35s." If 37s are even a consideration, just do it or you'll regret it.
I have seen maybe a dozen Gladiators total in my town in the nearly three months I’ve owned mine, but I see several every time we go to the beach, which is about an hour and a half away.
Looking to get rid of my factory Gladiator bumper and suspension. Shocks and springs were on the Jeep for less than 2,000 miles. The bumper is like new and was replaced by a steel winch bumper. Local pickup only. I’ll meet you in Kinston/Ayden/Grifton/Winterville.
I’ll give it a few days...
