MetalCloak just released front springs and some other front components for the JT, obviouly because they are also on the JL. But if you want to start piecing something together, they are helping to map this out now.

Has anyone figured out some temporary formulas to mix manufacturer parts being that the font end lifts are same as JL. Such as a 3.5 teraflex or metalcloak JL front arms and springs with the rear of something else until rear springs/arms come in. Pretty sure the lift shops are doing some of this...

Would easily consider evo but with 37s, I believe the best look to be a 3.5. Evos 4.5 just seems to much and the 2.5 not enough. hard to understand how evo can have a couple dozen different options in market for glad and others have nothing til 2020.

So it looks like Metalcloak and Teraflex are months away from market ready parts and don’t want to wait anymore as I have tires mounted and ready in the garage. If money is not an issue. Where should I go next???

Can't put those red shocks on. Great parts, but the branding and looks of many of their things can use some help. Understand the zinc plating on parts but gold lettering on the show jeep. -Insert throw up emoji .

Does anyone know of anyone that actually got one at or post show or was it just a a preorder sheet that puts them in line when they actually arrive in 2 months.

I would love to see a bed cap that looks more like a extension of the front cab and not a pickup cap. ALso would love to see some new ideas for the spare tire on the back.

Umm Its been way past 4-6 weeks. Anyone have news on Metalcloak or Teraflex. All I can get is soon, month after month of asking. Starting to think about going another way. Possibly Rock Krawler.

Wow, didnt realize there is so little storage. I could at least hide things way in the back of the JK under something when i valet the car. My glad storage bin under back seat was filled in a minute and behind the side is really non existent except for maybe a laptop, backpack wont even fit...

The link I posted above is for a JL cover and I misordered it. Going to keep it till aftermarket gets something. Here it is on truck with hardtop and rear doors on, front doors off. Good enough for me for a while to use it for diff applications for a while. A few gaps but think I can still get...

How about it you short it a bit and don’t cover the back because the hard top is on and bring it over the top worrrying only about the door openings.

So it wont work with hardtop on and doors off??

Prob something is placed on the assembly line has plastic covering it and it just getting bolted in with the plastic on it.
