I’ve been rabbit holing on the net for weeks regarding a good replacement rear bumper. My requirements are good either integrated or add-on bed sliders, compatibility with a hitch for actual towing (currently have Oem receiver), higher clearance than stock, sensor holes for Oem sensors. Not a...
The owner drives a gladiator. They fixed my trail damage in two weeks flat. Sheet metal and paint both look amazing. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Denver or Evergreen area.
Driver side works fine and has cosmetic dents. Passenger side housing and armor are toast, but they still work and the step, mechanism, motor, spring, etc, all work fine.
This is probably only worthwhile for someone who owns gen3 steps and wants spare parts at no cost.
Otherwise the metal...
Anyone have any experience with these? Extra points if you’ve used them with NVM belly skids. Thinking about these as the rock slider replacement, after it comes back from the body shop with repaired rocker panels on the passenger side. I’d likely bolt it on, and then add welds later in addition...
So this took me a bit to bring myself to post. It was a bit raw for a while. Some of you have been so kind to let me talk it out and vent. Thanks very much to, in no particular order, @Stan H, @Shibbyjeep, @ChrisNLA, @RudeJeepin, @Mightytalldude, @JCappy, and a couple non forum peeps, for taking...
For me today, and it’s only been on for 30 mins, so lots of time to go, grilled rotisserie Turkey. Not a huge bird as my rotisserie is good for 10lbs. It’s almost 11. I like to live dangerously. Trying for the first time a new thing. Put stuffing in a rotating bird. I’m excited. Taters, garlic...
I’m selling our Honda HSS1332A track snowblower. It’s got 75.6 hours and has been well maintained. Most of its life it was stored indoors. Some of its life it was stored covered. It’s always been on a battery maintainer, so the battery is in fantastic shape. The battery maintainer is included...
I Installed the @WOLFBOX TriPro 900 in the end of July. My gladiator, as many of you know was also undergoing lots of major maintenance, so I'm pretty delayed in doing this review. I also wanted it to include legitimate off-road footage from all three cameras, so that required a bit of Moab...
I’m looking for suggestions for where others have sourced their extrusion parts. I’m not making a traditional rack, but something for a specific mount. If I get it right, it will eliminate my Thule rain gutter cross bars. I’m trying to get rid of them to lower my height and get Starlink off of...
My driver side mount has failed badly. I’m looking for someone that has replaced this. They’re not expensive, but I can’t imagine it’s fun. If anyone has and knows the path of least resistance (swearing and blood), I’d greatly appreciate it.
I’ve got a Jeep I’m very interested in buying in San Jose, CA. I’m wondering if I can pay a mechanically experienced member who’s local to San Jose to look at it for me, ideally over face time or similar. Happy to pay for your time. I’m trying to avoid a flight without a deposit down. The seller...
I’ve been running steersmarts steering since 2022. The pro series track bar is great, and the 2.5 ton aluminum tie rod is holding up to extreme abuse, but I keep killing drag link joints. I’m running a top mount (flipped) drag link, and am staying that way to keep it parallel with my track bar...
My wife keeps commenting on how uncomfortable the seats are. Factory rubicon leather. I made a comment to her that I could fix that. :) I’m looking for recommendations for replacements with no compromise comfort, still heated as I have it now, and wouldn’t mind cooled seats, but cooled isn’t a...
I know. I know. But if there is a decent tire I’m unaware of, I’d likely replace my almost worn out 37’s with something bigger. I’m not interested in 13.5” wide tires though. So I get that the answer is likely no, but I thought I’d ask. With how I use mine, I can’t put the spare in the bed...
This is getting to be a habit for many of us, so I thought it needed a thread. Seems like a fun one for one off mod collaboration.
For a friend, @tredzlitely, made a spacer to fix a clearance issue. A new, very nice rear bumper caused a clearance issue opening the trailer wiring covers. Made a...
I called PPE and their threads are also M14x1.5 like the factory pan, but still wondering if anyone is doing this. If so, I’d love to get impressions of the setup. After 75k miles, I think I’m getting a TINY amount of seeping from the threads on the factory oil pan. I even replaced the valve...
Was it a noise that you were convinced was a major problem, but had nothing to do with your Jeep? Was it a feature that confused you and ended up making you feel stupid later, because you didn’t know it existed? Was it a “real” problem, but you definitely caused it? Did you blame the problem on...
Here's a video showing the unboxing, mounting, hooking up, and setup of the @WOLFBOX 50Amp EV Charger, Standard. I was not paid to do this review. But I did have their permission to do it. Standard means its a J1772 connector. I know this is a Jeep forum, but lots of people here have EVs...
I’ve been working on an issue with @Metalcloak support for the last couple days. The initial issue was caused by me, but they never got impatient, and stuck with me no matter what. I could not be more impressed with their professionalism and dedication to their customers. For anyone on the fence...
Hi all. I’m sick of spraying brake cleaner to clean parts. I’m ready for something easier and more effective, as well as something that makes disposal of waste cleaner. For those doing their own moderate maintenance, what are you using? I don’t want to break the bank open, but am happy to buy a...
