For me today, and it’s only been on for 30 mins, so lots of time to go, grilled rotisserie Turkey. Not a huge bird as my rotisserie is good for 10lbs. It’s almost 11. I like to live dangerously. Trying for the first time a new thing. Put stuffing in a rotating bird. I’m excited. Taters, garlic, onion, and later carrots will be in the drip pan.

We have a tradition of doing McDonalds pancakes and hashbrowns for breakfast. It’s open and it gives me a break from the chaos to go pick it up. This year the drive was much more enjoyable in Bandit.

For dinner, we’ll be doing a ham, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, corn and peas with rolls. Either a pumpkin or apple pie for after. And of course we have some of that fake champagne apple cider stuff so we can be super fancy. :like:

our tradition is now a big pot of pasta. her canned sauce, with my additions.
ground beef, spicey smoked sausage, extra veggies and shrooms.
in the crock pot on and off for a few days. (to get some heat cycles in).
if company shows, just throw some extra noodles on and your good.
with some fresh bread. easy peasy.

Fried a turkey on a gorgeous 75 degree Christmas afternoon. I cranked up some Christmas tunes in the garage and had some beers and had quite the enjoyable experience.

It’s all about the tunes. The fist speakers I installed at this house are on the deck dear the grill. I spent a bunch of time out there tossing them back and enjoying the weather. Nice looking bird.

Thank you. It turned out great. I switched it up and brined it using the same brine my dad always used for smoking turkeys and rubbed it with mustard with Tony charachares to seal in the flavor. I hate mustard, but it burns off and seals in the moisture/flavor.

In the garage I have an old Sonos amp and some old Yamaha speakers. They still sound great when you crank it up.
