  1. Building my own flush tail lights

My quick photoshop. Didn't turn out that bad of course not all the detail lines needed in the silhouette. I used the metal wall art of cars you can find all over the interwebs for the silhouette. Maybe gives people an extra level of customizing after the fact.
  2. Building my own flush tail lights

That is a whole lot of work. I am guessing the OEMs can do it with a printed "backing" on the strip. Thanks for explaining it. A side view of a Gladiator (not the FJ from the phone case) going either up that tail light curve or some rugged slope is all I was thinking. Some thing in the 2"...
  3. Building my own flush tail lights

I still kinda like the blank the most as well. I knew something still felt off with the fogs, they need to be outset from the headlights and not under the grill slots. My thought when you had previously mentioned the silhouette was more of this. Link below. I think this would actually get...
  4. Building my own flush tail lights

Looks good. I like it without the "headlights" getting leds. Something about the fog lights looks off, i tink it has to do with no detail to break up the bumper area. The wider channel looks better too. You are doing some great work with these.
  5. Building my own flush tail lights

Yeah that is what I was thinking. Like I said I wasn't sure where the internal supports were located. There is just so much blank space, since you have to use most of the outline of the OEM taillight to cover the hole in the sheet metal. Maybe a raised gladiator outline in the area, I think...
  6. Building my own flush tail lights

I guess once the lights are in you will know more on how to adjust it. Can you remove excess material where all the blank space is? I know part of it is needed for support. Just throwing other ideas out, might end up looking bad. I have a vinyl wrap so that would show.
  7. Building my own flush tail lights

This is looking killer. Can't wait to see how it looks with the lights in. I wonder if widening the strip would be better, give it a ring for running lights and then 2 for the brakes. What's the idea for reverse lights?
  8. Building my own flush tail lights

My guess Oracle didn’t do what you mentioned because of the tailgate light product. It would have hindered the Dodge taillight design they now sell. I was gonna mention using some type of led strip and cutting forming to a desired shape. But thought it would be too much hassle to make.
  9. Dealer sales codes for OEM lights

When you switched from Halogen to LED for the fogs, which codes did you change? I did a search on my Jscan and only found one code to change. I think it was LED fog present, if I recall correctly.
  10. Building my own flush tail lights

The Ram trucks do not have them either. I wonder if it has to do with the size of the tail lights that illuminate.
  11. Building my own flush tail lights

You might have seen these, but if not here are some a bit more rectangular. I guess since all of these are ATV/UTV they add the strobe and cargo function. It is so hard finding these with just 3 functions without just not wiring up the other 2 wires. OPP ULITE UTV LED Chase Brake Tail Lights...
  12. Building my own flush tail lights

That looks amazing! Is that straight off the printer or do you need to sand them to get to that point? If that is no sanding that is just crazy how well they turn out. Have you found any tail lights that are rectangles and not angular?
  13. Building my own flush tail lights

No worries. I would still be interested in a pair of the housings and then add the lights on my own.
  14. Building my own flush tail lights

Looking forward to seeing the pictures of the carbon fiber prints in a few weeks. Are you using one of the newer printers for the CF? I was looking into the Qidi X-plus which my 5 year old would probably enjoy having different prints and playing with. Would you be interested in selling a...
  15. Building my own flush tail lights

    Looking killer. Great job.
  16. Building my own flush tail lights

Looking good. Do you have a link to the lights?
  17. Building my own flush tail lights

You are doing some amazing work on these. Loving the progress you are making.
  18. North Carolina Roll-N-Lock for $50

I had a family member pick one of the two up for me this past week. I will pick it up from them the end of May. Based on my talks with Roll-n-lock you need only the rails and the hardware bag. I don’t think the bent part will matter all that much, but if it is it doesn’t look to hard to fix...
  19. North Carolina Sold: Roll-N-Lock for $50

There is a guy selling the canister with the retractable cover for $50 in Charlotte, NC. You will need the rails and the hardware, they sell the parts on their site. I was able to someone I know grab one of them for me (waiting to pick it up)...
  20. 2024 Gladiator Refresh/Update Model Changes Spotted Under Our Nose?!

I would say the biggest tell is the panel below the light switches. It's an image of the Wrangler and the Gladiator back to back. Some reason the image will not attach. https://www.motortrend.com/uploads/2023/04/2024-Jeep-Wrangler-2-Door-Willys-11.jpg?fit=around%7C1000:625
