Seems a tad high. Think you should be able to find that for 10% under MSRP, approx 31.5k if truly zero options.
Also check here to see what incentives are available Edmunds ; my zip is showing $1000 off, and that should apply in addition to above.
This one was 27k yesterday but now it’s...
Have you had a chance to install the Mojave coils?
Any chance you’ve located the front shock part numbers? (Though if they are $1000 each like the rears it’s probably moot..)
I know it’s unlikely but I hope they come up with a way to do a reasonable aux tank and retain the spare tire under the bed.
Seems like a larger primary tank is the way to go. You’d think Genrite or Titan would be working on it but....
I’ve owned a bunch of older jeeps and now a wrangler and I want/will probably get a JT one of these days. It’s funny but every time I wave at a JL and then it drives by and I see it’s actually a JT, I feel like “whoops, you tricked me”. I still wave at JT’s when I see them but I just get a...
Slight apples and oranges comparison but I’ve noticed how many people buy a Tacoma TRD pro and immediately replace the suspension. A TRD pro is pretty much identical to a loaded “off road” model with added fancy shocks, trim bits and a hood scoop. And $5-8k premium.
As someone that...
Thanks for writing all the detail. How do you like the steps? Are they really functional? Seems like they might be a little hard to use when getting out. I was thinking they might have a way to stay in the down position until I watched the MORE video and saw they are spring loaded.
Does the HVAC screen work? Just curious how this works with the standard (not auto) HVAC controls. Example physical fan dial set to speed “1” and the screen set to “5”.
Thanks!
Were you able to keep the OEM backup camera, and does it look pretty good? (Some if the alpine reviews say it seems degraded) Does it maintain the active gridlines?
Also, is there a method to program the AUX switches?
Nice video. Two thoughts:
One make the graphic/chart larger, very hard to read.
Second, could you compare sound level and your assessment of noise level/buffeting between the freedom panels removed and the sunrider open?
Good feedback. I’m really interested in the base model as well, heck it’s better optioned than my all options 2006 rubicon... (aside from the rubicon bits and the leather steering wheel).
The main concern I have is locking the back doors, which seems that can be overcome by installing power...
Very nice setup! I’m really thinking about the same config, + maybe add the LS diff.
Do you have before and after height measurements between the stock springs and the max tow?
Did you notice much change in the ride quality?
Also, kinda unrelated but curious if yours has the defrost button...
I’d also like to hear your thoughts on it. Things that I wonder about:
Does it effect the ride or ride height when you are not really using them? (I think they want a minimum 5psi at all times so you don’t damage the bag)
Does it effect compression and droop? (Can you still get it to...
Yeah the “S” thing is weird. They show it as a specific model on the website and configurator tools but on the window sticker it only shows up as customer preferred package 23S. Yours appears to have power window switches, making it an “S” model.
Looks like you can get them from Mopar, here’s one link
Mopar 82215613

Google search shows this part number under $2k, not sure about shipping though.
Thanks techtim and whiteglad, are both of these Sport “S” models or base sport? (S package has power windows, base does not). My understanding the S models all have the defrost button as they all have heated mirrors, also controlled by that button. So far everything I’m seeing shows the soft...
Yeah the base Sport without the heated mirrors, makes me think it would take some extra parts to make this work. Reason I’m entertaining it is that it seems like there are more soft top models out there with larger discounts, however to be honest I haven’t found one just the way I’m looking...
