I think someone should take one for the team and install every one of the mentioned accessories on their Gladiator and post it in this thread.
.......Not it!
I keep forgetting to get these for a backup, but part of me wants them to fail while under warranty so Stellantis gets hit with the repair bill eventually.
It's probably such a cheap and hassle free fix that many owners opt to fix it themselves without going to a dealer for the warranty work...
Ok. I just listened to the videos with my headphones on and I don't hear anything out of the ordinary. I'm not sure if you've ever had a diesel before, but they can just be louder and clunkier sounding.
On a side note, I was towing my car that I sold to a coworker the other day and could feel...
I am curious. I'll have to find your audio post, but it wouldn't hurt to take it to your dealer to ask them to check it out with you(preferrably going for a ride so you can show them). I doubt they will charge you, but you can ask first.
I had this diesel in my 2017 ram 1500 and it was way quieter. There was a lot more noise dampening going on under the hood. I can't help with the shaking issue, but it doesn't seem normal for me. As for the noise when taking your foot off of the accelerator pedal, I would almost say it sounds...
I haven't tried it in drive, but if you shift to reverse with the door open, it will go into auto-park, but if you go back to park, then reverse again it says, "auto-park disabled" and continue. It very well may do the same for drive(forward). The safety feature may be there just to prevent...
I would be weary of calling them an actual warranty. I think it has been mentioned before that they are more like insurance.
So the most important thing to do when shopping for them is to ask a lot of questions and actually read the paperwork.
I am actually in the same boat as you are. I am...
That's good to know. I've left it that way since I bought it last year. I need to reread the manual. I'm sure there's still tons of stuff that I haven't discovered or figured out yet.
I just scrolled through the other thread about this issue looking for my post about showing pictures before I realized it was another thread.
They're a little late, but here you can see the screen change, but the green indication dot at the bottom stays the same. They will disappear after a...
I also think there might be other "failure" modes because I have the green dots at the bottom that show how many displays can be toggled and which one you are currently on staying at the first selection out of two, no matter which I am on. That has never fixed itself for me. I'll get some...
Mine didn't have the small green dots showing which left-right page I was currently on when I first got it, so when it did change, I had no idea that was a thing. It still doesn't change positions when i switch between the two, but it is there now.
I showed it to the dealer and they were...
