I ended up going with the classic D 18" wheels in alloy and Nitto Ridgegrappler 37" tires. Wheels are the same weight as the OEM, tires are heavier of course, but by 11 or 12 lb heavier. So I guess it should do it.

I did not know Mopar was making a real rock sliders. How thick are those? I wonder if they will take a repeated beating?

Just called them, they maybe a good shop, but $1100 for Clayton 2.5" kit installation and $2,400 for 4.88 gears on Rubicon a bit too much.

Don't have pictures, but it looks awesome. It has a look of a Hammer with the big wheels. However, I still have about 3" between wheels and fender.
