I have the MP Concepts aluminum bumper. Plastic bumper weighed 35 lbs coming off; MPc weighed about the same going on (39 lbs with winch fairlead and fog lights - around 37 lbs without the fairlead? 32 bare metal with no brackets or fog lights). The end caps definitely come off. Design is...
If you smelled anything at all during a diesel test drive, good job passing on that one. There must have been something quite wrong with it. There should be no odor whatsoever.
I'll just +1 all the owners here, I test drove gas and diesel versions back to back and it's not subtle. If there...
Sidekick was, all in, $300.25. It might take a while to make up $3000 saving $100 per trip... More typically for me on my trips, I’m saving ~$20-40 per trip not having to buy diesel in places like Borrego Springs or Furnace Creek where they can charge whatever they want. But obviously cost...
Because it's a universal product made for any truck, available since at least 2015, long before the Gladiator existed: https://titanfueltanks.com/products/sidekick-tank/titan-sidekick-15-gal-portable-liquid-tank-5040015
random youtube video about it uploaded 2015
The gladiator-specific one is...
Search here on “rear steer.” When you lift the truck but leave the stock track bar mounts, now the track bar isn’t parallel to the ground any more. So when you compress the rear suspension, that angle means there’s a sideways shove coming through the track bar.
Relocate the axle side track bar...
Honestly I didn’t find it that bad. Definitely not a nightmare. You don’t need to fully remove the dash, just lots of screws and undo a lot of small panels in the right sequence.

This had a ton of helpful tips...
If you’ve been thinking of replacing your knee pod speakers, do that. The SGW module is on the back of the driver side pod, and you’ll have easy access once you loosen the dash and remove the pod. I didn’t find it very hard to do with the right guide (I can dig that up if you’d like)
Then...
Clayton publishes spring rates; all other manufacturers (pretty much) treat rates like a trade secret so users are in the dark and guessing. AEV was well-reviewed for heavy trucks like mine, so was Clayton; but that extra concrete info was enough to sway me. I got Clayton's 3.5" HD springs...
I probably wouldn't worry too much for a paved daily commute. But those spacers are definitely too long, and you're not getting enough thread engagement. You should be able to find thinner spacers to fit what you need at a well-stocked Ace Hardware, which will let the unthreaded nose of the...
I've got the 3.3s on my JTR diesel, with the kind of heavy load (Alu-Cab Canopy Camper) that would have someone looking for HD springs.
However I went with Clayton heavy-duty springs rather than AEV. Happy to share my thoughts but not sure if you're more interested in the shocks or the...
Note that this post is in the diesel section, OP's sig says diesel, and Mojave is gasoline-only.
(I haven't seen O2 sensor problems on my 3.0 but googling on it, I do see a lot of Ram ecodiesel owners posting about it. Not sure if those are 1st and 2nd gens instead of our 3rd gen motor)
No software flash for mine a couple weeks ago. I did go to the trouble of unmarrying my Tazer in case they needed to flash. It's not that hard to do and will save a lot of trouble in case they do flash it

Looks like a bit less bend than my Metalcloak which TBH fits fairly tight with my 37 Yoko X-ATs which are bang on 37" diameter. I'd probably go for trimming the excess off the back of the...
there are some 37x11.5-17 tires that won't hang down quite so low, which might matter in the rocks and on rocky shelf drops... but I'm guessing not much of that around NJ :)
If you don't want to spend the extra cash for a fifth wheel and tire so you can do a 5-tire rotation, you can consider...
I put in a 50W 2m/70cm radio with a proper Larsen antenna, and always have it scanning while offroading including the GMRS/FRS freqs. I'm frequently hearing groups chatting amongst themselves on GMRS, and have had interesting simplex contacts on the VHF calling freq from over 100 miles away...

Not really a straight answer to your question... but I've found myself in this exact position a number of times, and I've always just drilled out the center of the quick fist to the size I needed. Going on 15 years of hard use on some of those and no worse for wear.
Drilling hard rubber is...
