Currently waiting on more parts, ARB compressor, brackets, traction boards, rotopax, etc. While I wait I started to get my stuff organized. Theres a little bit of everything, its been curated over the years as its all moved from one vehicle to the next one and I find I need something I dont...
You're probably right, I may go with a less aggressive ratio after talking with the shop thats going to do it. My concern is towing my trailer with 37's, I just want to make sure its got the low-end grunt to not be miserable. Right now on the factory 33's its totally fine
Installed my bumper and winch last night.
The bumper is a Rugged Ridge Arcus w/Override bar.
The Winch is a Warn Evo 10s.
I had originally planned to go with a Warn Evo 12s, but found a really good deal on the 10s.
Installation of the bumper and winch took approximately 7 beers and 6 hours...
@Idlethunder since you asked too.
Just did a 450-mile trip over the weekend with them installed. Will say there is definitely a noticeable difference in wind noise coming from the hardtop, not totally eliminated but definitely better, noticeably easier to talk grinding out miles on the highway...
Installed my DiamondBack HD and Rough Country molle panels. Was great that I installed them together because the Trail Rail's had to come out to install both. (The DB requires spacers under the bed top caps, and the molle panels mount with the same bolts the rails do.) The trail rails have...
I like we're you've got yours, looks clean and out of the way there. As far as the Boom Mats go, no idea yet haha. Just got them in yesterday and today I had the top off when I was out and about. Aesthetically though, really happy with them. They make the interior look much nicer imho.
Installed my Redarc Towpro Elite. Installation was quick and easy. The only challenge I
had was removing the 12v outlet to replace it with the knob for the brake controller. There IS a special tool you can get to make it easier, but if you're a little creative with needle-nose you can get it out...
Hi all,
Took delivery of my 2022 Mojave yesterday. I needed a vehicle for the following tasks:
Towing 5k Ilb (loaded) ATV trailer, buddies, and all our gear to and from ATV parks (Had an F150 for this prior)
Trail rides and moderate off-roading (East Coast, so rocky rutted out trails, Had a 4...
@Maccam26 If it makes you feel any better, my Gladiator is sitting on the truck at the dealer as I type this, just waiting on them to unload, prep, and take delivery. So you wont be the only one sending a brand new truck through the woods haha
We will definitely run into other groups but with the exception of a couple of spots theres plenty of room for 2 way traffic/i've never had a problem negotiating around other groups. That being said, Folliage is pretty grown in up there now and will be full by July, so i'd say theres definitely...
Technically there IS short stretch on that side that we are allowed on but it's basically a fire road to get to the atv trails. Also, for extracurriculars, Woodstock tower is really close to the north end of Petersmill, worth checking out if you've never been before
I say we shoot for 9 then since it looks like people are going to be making some treks to get there. Leave the parking lot by 10 and that'll put us at the midpoint by lunchtime
Yeah earlier is definitely better, by mid afternoon it'll definitely have some traffic and be loaded with ATV's if the weather is nice. @JTBurns what time do you want to get this party started? I recommend we start in the main lot at the south end and head north. Have lunch in the open area...
