  1. Cancelled my Bronco Reservation Today!

Same here! Actually this is a good reminder to go and do the cancellation, but we already bought the Gladiator. We were super excited for the Bronco but: * Truck bed * 2x towing capacity Just couldn't bring myself to get the Bronco, particularly with 3,500 max towing. We test drove a Gladiator...
  2. The Great Divide - Episode One - The Journey Into Colorado

Re: #2, I had the exact same thought watching this. If anything my suspicion is a stock Rubi on the Falkens might actually have an easier time given the narrower profile than some of the trucks in the video. Would love to hear @RebelOffRoad 's take.
  3. Mods you regret

I don't have one yet, but I'm assuming I will get one this year for this reason. I could have it ten years and never use it, but having it makes me more comfortable going w/out doors or top. I definitely don't think I would do a weekend camping trip in Colorado without tops or doors unless I had...
  4. Went mudding; need advice!

When I bought mine the finance guy kept emphasizing with a wink and a nod, “when you bring it in, you were on a normal road at normal speeds.” So take it in. You were on a normal road, at normal speed.
  5. Mods you regret

Mine was a GM demo. I suspect they maybe added the mats at the dealership but didn't want to permanently modify?
  6. Mods you regret

And now I'm just - "why the hell didn't they* do this already?" *(or... me)
  7. Mods you regret

I got mine from factory, but I've never been satisfied with the way they sit. Kind of pushed up a bit where the carpet cut out thing is. Could just be that they are misaligned and I need to position them better. But - where exactly did you cut? Might need to do this as well. Do you have a picture?
  8. Did you buy your JT because of the bed or for towing???

Both - but priority is tow. We had a reservation on a new Bronco but I just couldn't accept the 3,500 lbs towing rating. We cut firewood in the NFS and use it to (help) heat the house. A cord of pine is at least 4,000 lbs, not including the trailer. This also pushed me away from the Mojave.
  9. Nobody waves anymore.

Just returned to the jeep family with the purchase of a gladiator. I have been surprised by the lack of waving, at least on pavement. I previously had an 89 YJ (sold it around 2003) and remember the wave at like 90-95%. If I don't wave first, I'd say here in CO I'm getting about 5% wave. If I...
  10. Anyone else have parts on back order?

Currently waiting on red Rokblokz. Most colors are available but I'd like the red on my black Rubicon. Customer service says they haven't been able to get shipments of certain materials/colors in a long time.
