Nice. And fasteners because of no trail rail system? Are you able to add. A tonneau cover?
I’m so very split between getting this rack and tonneau or getting the RSI canopy
Excellent write up. Quick question. When you say fasteners, you mean there's no drilling, right? You just tighten the bolts and it closes like a vice?
I'm new to all this and wanting a bed rack and was looking at this
If done right it can be neat to look at and functional. Look The patriot guys on trailrecon. They converted Land Cruiser trucks to the 6x6 and each wheel set has diff suspension settings so it moves over tough terrain like a caterpillar
Agree. In terms of mods, its the most expensive addition I’ve done but if you think about it, it’s the most used.
There’s also discounts out there. I think I paid $650
I know it’s not an option but Armorlite. I cannot suggest it enough. It’s def a bit costly and can be somewhat of a pain to install (least it was for me who has no experiencing in any type of automobile modding)
but the final result is unbelievable. Less noise, more stable temps, easy to wash...
I can see installing this and having everything stolen by the time I got out of Home Depot which speaks to the current state of society and also to my addiction to Home Depot
No worries. I’ll dm you the info for the guy i worked with.
IF they can transfer in, more power to you. I checked everywhere to find the right truck, NY, NC, WV, TN, MD, NH, CT, VT, VA, PA. While the discount was great, it was just the overall vibe that made me pull the trigger with these guys
Glad I asked. Thanks! I just saw Roam is out with one. Their products are pretty solid Although not sure if I want to be an early adopter. Especially at $1400.
What’s OVS?
IronMan 4x4 has 25% off Black Friday sale. Anyone ever ordered anything from them? I’m tempted to order. 270 awning. Appears their poles, sold separately, are out of stock though. https://ironman4x4america.com/
I had to make some concessions when i got my rubicon. They had my color, cold weather and hard top which were top things on my list. No LED headlights or aux switches. Total cost for both and install was around $1200 which (and I may be mistaken) is the cost of adding the lighting package if you...
I’m not sure how far Phili is for you but I went to reedman toll in jenkintown (I’m from ny) and got 5k off MSRP for my rubicon a few months ago. I just checked and they have some decent prices on mojave and rubicons. None in your blue so not sure how attached to that you are. Maybe worth a look
Thanks for sharing. I have a sting gray Rubicon and am looking to add a smartcap evoA next year so it's good to get an idea how it'll look.
I'm surprised that you needed spacers because it has you pick what truck you're ordering for.
Oveall how hard was it to install? Also what awning?
I hope @DV8Offroad shows up. I have a few of their stuff installed and plan for .more. should seek a sponsorship for how much of their stuff I plan to add.
That flooring is truly a bitch and a half to install but absolute quality. And kudos for matching the drain plug color. I need to order the red to go with my Rubicon accents
Interesting to run across this thread as I had my Oracle Bi-LED headlights installed not 3 weeks ago and noticed today that my driver-side headlight HALO wasn’t on while the passenger one was.
I am taking it to the shop that installed it this Friday. I ran it again earlier and both lights were...
