They can't throw too many stones-they have trouble designing rear brake hoses, LOL.
  4. Recall: 1M+ Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator Fire Risk (June 9, 2026)

Yes, there were discussions a while ago about a few trucks catching fire for an unknown reason. The p/s circuit and connector were suspected. In fact, I recall seeing a pic where some rodents actually chewed on the supply wires. I also remember a forum member's truck catching fire while...
  5. Beginning & Ending

I won't recommend it, but mine never operate since I rarely wear my seatbelt around town.
  6. Intermittent squealing at slow speeds

Do a search for this post: Low Speed Squeak while sharp turn Not sure if it's the same issue as yours, but that's probably what I remember reading.
  7. Intermittent squealing at slow speeds

Weren't some of the wear shims getting out of position and rubbing on the rotors? I swear I recall seeing this issue on this forum.
  8. New Jersey Mopar Factory Tonneau Cover, Hard Tri-fold

I never used the rivet nuts. I used fender washers along with fender washers on the front. I just had to dislocate my wrist to install the nut.
  9. Need a reminder on front driveshaft

Just looked at my 25 Rubicon. Appears to have a block off plate where FAD mounts. Research online says that some newer vehicles don't have FAD. Mine won't turn unless you jack up a front wheel.
  10. Cam shaft backordered

But the main point still seems to exist: They find enough parts to build new engines to stuff in new vehicles! Customer service seems to have taken a major hit. IMO, it really started during covid. Big truck turbo's were impossible to get. Electric transformers, etc. The list is endless...
  11. Cam shaft backordered

I wonder how many "don't need anything". There is an issue here. Arguing percentages is great until your engine oil is full of shiny cam glitter. My concern was what appears to be a lethargic response from the manufacturer. I say was because my jeep is gone. I must say that I miss it...

  13. Pennsylvania Best Top Sunrider.--SOLD!

Sorry, not the twill fabric. I don't have a clue what shipping would cost. It has lived in the garage with my Jeep for the past year.
  14. Pennsylvania Best Top Sunrider.--SOLD!

Parted ways with the Mojave. I have a black diamond Best top sunrider that I no longer need. It's off a 21 Mojave Gladiator. I had it on for about a year. The jeep lived in the garage when I wasn't driving it. It is very good condition. I'm looking to get $300 for it. I don't have any...
  15. 3.6 pentastar 2020 major problems - Is the newer engine better in 2025 etc.

I've never seen the oil journals on the head, but I do wonder if there is some type of restriction due to misaligned holes. Or....could the oil be "coking up" due to close proximity to exhaust heat? Keep in mind that excessive rpms at cold temps could send the filter into bypass mode. This...
  16. engine replacement advice request

Recon.....don't want to buy another problem with no recourse. If you're lucky, they might source their valve train components aftermarket.
  17. Pennsylvania Four Mojave OEM wheels

My spare looks like it was at the bottom of the ocean for a while. Maybe we can all make a deal. I'm in Altoona area myself.
  18. Opinion on Bakflip Tonneau Covers

I love my Mopar hard cover. It was a pita since I didn't have the tool for the inserts. I ended up using plain old nuts and bolts. It has served my purposes well.
  19. 2021 Mojave- 72k - P0300 Miss fire, and now a complete engine replacement??

Zapper sounds like sound advice. According to the video, there is concern about further damage from metal in the oil. I'd weigh the cost vs. risk and try to fix what you have. Never had much luck with junkyard engines. The video was hard to see, but there doesn't appear to be much of a ridge...
  20. Headlight aiming

I never messed with mine. I just kinda' wrote the headlights off as semi-useful. I'll check it out to see if there are left/right adjustments.
