I had a 2010 JKU for a few years before selling it and getting my Gladiator, in my experience the JT has a noticeably better ride than my JKU. No doubt.
I believe you could run 35s on your non-lifted JT, but would have to add wheel spacers if you plan on keeping the same wheels. I was lifted and on 35s OEM wheels before swapping to another set of wheels with the offset to forgo the spacers.
I actually added 1.75" wheel spacers to give me the...
We recently did a round trip from Nebraska to San Diego. Since time wasn't an issue for us, we drove for no more than 10 hours a day. That would be our suggestion. Our JT ran great on our trip. Traveling at 70-75 mph the majority of the way, we averaged 17mpg on the way out and around 14 mpg...
As I'm in an auto, I'm not aware of any issues with a manual trans and a tire size recalibration. Perhaps others with that recall recently done will jump in.
Regarding the change in tire size, I have the JScan app and have used it to recalibrate my speedo when I was running 35s and then the...

I've done this with mine. After my lift & tires were on I had my wife drive around the neighborhood so I could see it drive by. It looks even better rolling down the road!
I see it daily, but seeing it come down the street gives you a different perspective.
I have family moving to Flagstaff...
I have a 2021 JT Sport S. No issues at 50k miles. Took a road trip from Nebraska to San Diego and back in May and had a great trip. I have a lift and 37" tires and still averaged 17mpg.
Check to see why it has the salvaged title. I have fiends that have bought them, knowing what the issues...
You will be fine with the stock 4.10 gears on your JTRD.
Jut as an FYI, KO2s typically run a little small and you may not need the Clayton track bar out back, unless you want one for the long run. A front adjustable would be needed to center the axels up after the lift.
Are you adding the...
