I just ordered this Fox Overland Split tailgate pad. Looks promising.
I'll update if anyone is interested. Bonus, it matches my Mojave accents. I got the black and orange one.
I’m installing these today on my Mojave. Any tips? Also, I noticed you used the 1/2” spacer, how much gap do you have between the Timbren and axle? Thanks
Thanks! I appreciate it. I was a little nervous taping my phone to my bumper, but now that I know it’ll stick I’ll go over faster, rougher terrain. Looking forward to your vid.
Taped my iPhone to the bumper, found some dirt, and failed to make the hydraulic bump stops engage
Here’s the video anyways:
Mojave Suspension

It happens when I go over 20 miles an hour and hit a 8” plus rut perpendicularly.
Can you depress the bumpstop by hand? I tried and they don’t budge, but I can barely get my fingers through the springs.
Thanks. Makes sense. I read in another thread that the Mojave has about 3.5 inches of travel before the bump stops engage. Just didn't know they were so progressive.
Traded in my Maxtow for a Mojave and I feel like the Mojave blows through it’s travel easier than the Maxtow and initiates the hydraulic bump stops making a loud and harsh thunk noise. It makes me wonder if my bumpstops aren’t cycling or are too stiff. It feels great on small to medium hits at...
If you have Tazer Lite the programmer didn’t disable it and they told me to downgrade to the previous update, but I like the features so I’m keeping it. It allows me to also use homelink after the engine’s off, turns off license plate lights in reverse to reduce cam glare and a few other things.
Are you certain? Mine flashes ABS and Brake continually until I press the gas, and it always unlocks. I sent a text to verify, but if feels like it's working as intended. The only thing is, I have the Tazer Lite and these upgrades and instructions manual are listed for the Tazer Mini. There's no...
I thought I had the same issue, but after reading the update instructions I think it's a function called Brake Hold. Weird at first, but now that I know what it is I starting to use and like it. Check it out: https://www.zautomotive.com/zpu/instructions/TazerJLMiniUserGuide1127.pdf
I had that issue and took it apart again and played with the internals of the button. I wish I could tell you what I did, but I think initially I had forced it together too hard so just kept assembling it until it felt right. Now it’s perfect. It should turn red when the manual button is pressed.
