I do the same. oil filter every 5K
Here is another upgrade I just recently installed and am super happy with the results

I will say again
Do the test
Let your jeep set over night
Remove the oil filter
You wont see an oil filter dripping in oil
What you will see a almost dry oil filter
I prefer to have an oil filter full of oil every time I start my motor
You can do what you want
I also remember the first time I did an oil change on my 2020 with the factory set up
I looked at the oil filter housing and said. This is going to be a mess oil is going to go all over the motor
I wrapped a bunch of rags around the filter housing and unscrewed the cap and to my surprise...
I have the Baxter on both my 2020 and 2018 3.6 Wranglers
Greatly reduces the valve train rattle on startups
To those that are saying the the factory filler housing doesn't drain down over time. A simple test
Let your jeep set over night
Remove the oil filter
You wont see an oil filter dripping...
I am not sure whether the Baxter will help reduce the chance of cam failure (I hope so)
Put I do know that on startup both my 3.6 are much quieter
With over 30k in upgrades the Baxter cost penny's compared to all the rest
Here is another mod I did to the cooling system that has also brought...
Like I said again
Let the 3.6 sit over night
Remove the oil filter
You will not see oil dripping off the filter
What you will see is a almost dry filter
Darel Needs to take an empty class and fill it to the top with water
Now take a full glass of water and fill it to the top
Which one overflow faster
Same principle
As soon as you shut off the 3.6 the factory oil filter housing will start draining all the oil out leaving it full of air and that...
My 2018 had the same issue
I put a vacuum gauge on the hose going to the vacuum booster started it and then plugged the hose going to the motor
It held vacuum over night so the only thing it can be is the booster check valve
I replaced the check valve and no more bleeding down
Its probably the...
Nope
It was the engineers that added the larger fan and fan motor alternator and Z fuse in an attempt to bring down the coolant temps
Why do plains crash / air bags kill people and all the safety recalls . ITS BECAUSE ENGINEERS GOT IT WRONG
I am done disusing this
You have seen my results...
I am sorry. But you are wrong
Free flowing air will not pass through the radiator by ether trying to push it through with a 150 mph wind speed fan or driving down the road at 70 mph. Meaning very little heat transfer. I have proved this
Air will ALWAYS take the path of least resistance and...
Obviously you have not been following the entire post and other post about high temps
Like me and other here have been seeing coolant temps as high a 240 and oil temps 230 or higher
Some going into limp mode
With are modified jeeps you need a modified cooling system
Jon at rpmextreme has made...
Yes. Maybe. Put I am done with the dealer
Every time I would take it in they would tell me theirs nothing wrong with your jeep
I don't even take in in for my free oil changes any more. I got tired of cleaning up there mess
The last straw was when I took it in with a brake problem and was...
