What do we say to the God of Death?

Not today!
The other three are more bumpy and not as pretty as the first one... but I already had all the supplies and a little elbow grease was worth it to save them.
It went crazy out of alignment in just 3 days according to those sheets. Ive heard there can be issues when you get a lift when it comes to alignment. Getting them to check it is free and they are literally 3 minutes from my home. So its no big deal to pop in on a random morning and have them do...
Update for anyone else who cared, they are posted. And with that - I will step outta this thread as I am no longer in the ordering phase.
Good Luck to all you fellow Jeeper's and congrats on your future purchase!
Alignment sheets. One on the left was done the day I picked it up - roughly ~45 miles. The one on the right this morning (a few days later) with just under 1400 miles. Driving from Tennessee back I could tell they didnt do a great job on the alignment the first time.
Because firestone has the...
Side note about this - do not mention this website or the pricing while in the dealership. This is exclusive and not offered to everyone all willy nilly.
Jeremy, not sure what changed from leaving your house to arriving to my house in Austin, but the halo rings on the Oracles stay on with the DRL. Thanks again!
Im going to use this thread to chronicle my amazing toy affectionally known as the Ugly Truck!
I started planning this build in my mind 2 years ago when the Bronco was announced. That was going to be my forever truck, until I rode in one and realized the back seats are to small and the...
$200. I dont think Firestone did a great job though as the steering wheel is still off a little and whatever they did tripped a warning code about the electronic stability. Its driving great tho - besides the steering wheel being a tiny bit off.
Its in the truck and I am comfy in the hotel...
Black one to the left is the Ram I traded in. White Gladiator is my new truck. The box in the back is the suspension parts they took off when they installed the lift. Its sitting ~3.5** inches higher than factory, so the tires look tiny. When I get back to Austin I will start the custom build...
Renee wants you all to know that Gupton will price match the Tom Winkle warranties if you want to roll it into the financing and get it all 1 stop shop.
EDIT - The warranty stuff is all done through a different lady, not Renee. Just a heads up!
I was quoted $2145 from a dealer including the lift kit - which is currently selling for over $1700 but can normally be found for around ~$1300.
I assumed they are charging something like ~500 for labor.
:furiously sanding in the back ground:
This is my fun DIY project that I plan on making a lot of customization on. Im damn sure not going to let center caps be the thing that makes me break down and hire someone else to do it! haha
Additionally, does anyone know a company that you would recommend for replacing these with a different style? I am not sure if they are a total loss, but maybe there are some aftermarket orange ones that I should consider.
I am attempting to paint the wheel center caps orange. I painted them first with a product from home depot, didnt like the shade. I read on here people using racing orange matte, so I order a few of those. Used solvent to get the top layer off, sanded, washed it, repainted them.....
WTF...
His is behind the seat, which is the most ideal spot imo. There are a lot of boxes that fit under a seat. You dont even need the ground shaker, go to best buy and youll see dozens of them.
