Great little write-up. On the lift, did you get the diesel specific? I’m assuming the 37’s/2” lift/3.73 gears are no problem for the ecoD?

Friend of mine just bought a used (25k miles) GMC Canyon with the 2.8 Duramax. Has had it maybe 3 weeks and had to have the dealer perform one of those regens. He said it took a couple of hours and 1/4 tank of fuel. I need to do a little more research myself, but it seemed like his duramax we...

Vehicles are not my skill set fir sure, but I will get back to changing my own oil on this new baby. Local dealer has been good with my Cherokee, but it also has had very few problems. I’ll get a quote form them on the lift as well. Who knows, might save a little. Thanks for the thoughts.

You bring up something I didn’t think about... my dealer selling me the JT is a few hours away, and would not be my local. Might be better to have the local dealership install lift?

We have not discussed new tires, yet, but certainly would make the overland highway tires that much worse looking on a lift, IMO.

My new JTOD is expected in the next couple of weeks, and I’m thinking about having the dealer install the 2” diesel lift kit from Mopar. They quoted me $2,395+tax. That‘s about $900 for install assuming the kit is retail at $1,495. What are your thoughts on (1) the cost, and (2) getting this...

So i ran my VIN on Overland ecoD, and i do not see wide track axels. I wonder if the build sheet you see is the High Altitude Overland ecoD? However, I don’t think the ecoD can have the SelecTrac Full-Time 4WD, so I’m thinking that maybe that build is the High Altitude gasser?

Newbie question... what’s the difference between JScan/Tazer and an app like OBDFusion? I’ve seen in the ecodiesel section guys using ODBFusion to display data in real time/gauge form on the phones. Can the JScan or Tazer apps do something like that?

Mine did not, but my bill of sale has the 5%, 6%, and 7% under invoice quoted pricing when I sent in my deposit.

Just ordered Hothead Headliner kit, taking advantage of their 12% off through tomorrow (2/5). My JTOD is expected by the end of the month, so I need to get a few other things on order soon!
