Iām torn.
On the one hand I really enjoy the experience of sleeping high up above the ground. Iāve gotten better sleep in my 23 Zero than have in any other tent Iāve ever used. Hell, Iāve slept better in it than in my own bed at home. But there are also some downsides I donāt like about it...
Itās never taken days for me, just a few hours at the longest. I did have to reset the dash display preference this time around. It defaulted to #4 which is what it was set to when I bought the truck. I usually keep it on 12, so I know it didnāt save that.
Every time Iāve disconnected the battery on my truck Iāve had to wait a while for all the features/apps to show back up again. Pretty sure thatās normal across the board. Which ones come back immediately and which ones donāt seem to be random though. I donāt think its always the same ones at the...
Went back out this evening and everything was back to normal. Just had to give the head unit time to catch up I guess as was said.
I do still get the ESS warning light though.
Iām aware but according to the mechanic I asked about this at the dealer it shouldnāt affect the backup camera. I suspect heās wrong and am giving it a day or so to see.
As for that other ESS delete thread running currently, Iām also giving that 24 hours or so. I followed the steps precisely...
Is it normal for the backup camera to not work after replacing a battery? Everything else seems to be working fine but my backup camera wonāt come on as usual?
So went out to my truck this morning to take my dog on his daily hike and - yup, you guessed it - dead battery.
About to to try this aux battery delete. Iāll let you guys know how it goesā¦
Seems like all of this drama, debate, bickering and stress could be quickly resolved by simply making the aux and main easily accessible, and designing the system so you could test each battery individually. That way you could just replace either/or as needed.
