Just tell them you can’t afford it and they will wheel and deal for both the radio and the services if you want them I have the radio for a year for $90 And for the gaurdian services I had to cancel and wait 2 months but got a year with full services for $160

Had mine done yesterday for my Mojave Build 7/20/22 and it sure cut down on the wind noise which I wasn't expecting that but made a huge difference

Basically ESS failed and had to get the batteries replaced twice on my JL and once so far on the JT so I no longer disable it

So for me personally on 2 different jeeps if I left it off through the tazer I had issues with both jeeps and the ESS battery. Now I don’t disable it and haven’t had a issue yet but this is just what I have seen
