Just had 37 Patagonia XT's installed yesterday. So far, love 'em. They ride smooth & quiet. The only down side (if you want to call it that) is that it's going to really tough for the wife to get in now! Pics to follow, as soon as the wind chill isn't -30 below.

Hopefully you can get more than 25,000 miles out of them before they start coming apart, that's been their major fault. They are hit or miss when it comes to quality.

I've read it about both and know of at least 2 people who had issues with there XT's. The not sure if it was a bad batch last year or what but on wrangler forum they were getting a bashing

The XT's are in the middle of a AT and MT right?
I'm very curious to hear how these hold up long term both in how long they last and how loud they are or get.

Brand new tires are always quieter than after 10k, 20k miles. The Patagonias are usually a bargain though. I seriously considered them in a 35 when I was shopping for my BFG ATs.

They was on my short list until I saw some unfavorable ones on a few rigs with not a lot of miles and they do get louder than a lot of the other ones after about 15,000 miles based on riding in and driving a few rigs running them. Not all jeeps but still with what they are running price wise now I would expect more than 30,000 miles out of a set. I ended up with Kanati Trail Hogs after a hard look at General Grabbers, and coming from BFG KO2s which were my favorite tires I got to say I have been pretty impressed with them. I'll probably end up with at least 45,000 miles out of them.

I wanted to get the MT 02s. But seems like a lot of ppl been blowing side walls on them. Nate on dirt lifestyle has blown like 4 or 5 sidewalls on them and he’s like I’m done.

I blew through several MT first gen’s… I haven’t heard the same issues with the 02’s.

I do remember Nate talking about moving to a different direction because of the same thing- but then I thought they came out with the 02’s and that’s why/what he threw on the new Tacoma?? (I’ll dig in later…)- my “hopeful” thinking is that the 02’s are t going to be much better….. has anyone actually confirmed first hand?

Pic’s for the cause. ??

Pretty sure he had a set of 02s on the taco. And blew it out. I could be wrong though. Coulda sworn he was switching or already switched to km3s

I couldn’t find anything on 02’s ??‍♂ but I did rewatch the rant on how he was tired of blowing through sidewalls. ???

It really does suck- if they could figure out the sidewall, the off-road capability of them is on point…. Some of the crap I have been up and just thinking “damn, these things are like glue on rocks…”

Crappy pic, it's cold as a witch's.... Better leave it at that.

3 day review, the only complaint is that the wife is struggling to get in and out ?

@samd1351, thank you for the photo. Your JT looks comfortable out in the elements.

It looks like you have the streets to yourself.
