So I read all 13 pages and must say this is a very interesting thread...Besides the idea of pulling the RFID does anyone have "solutions" for this problem? Im aware nothing is 100% but from the videos I have seen it seems many are good for about 30-45 seconds in the car then on to the next...
This is why I asked what I did in my last post...I think that spot is perfect for a phone as well as keeping out of sight...All that needs to be done is a way to get it from sliding all over the place.
This might be a hard ask but has anyone seen a phone "holder" or something like that, that goes in between the center console and the dash?? There is a "well" at the transition that holds a phone size-wise but will slide all over, has anyone seen something that goes there for a phone?
This might be a crazy thought but has anyone taken lift money and gone in a little bit different direction?? Stock height, Inner fender liners replaced (or fender altogether), and lots of armor? I would think 35-37 would be easy and a nice low center of gravity.
My last couple of jeeps and my F150 all had 67 Designs stuff on the dash...While it was nice to have the phone within sight Im also fine hiding it out of sight. In my F150 the USB for AA was in a hidden cubby, I ran the wiring behind the radio and up through the top of the dash, it worked well...
I think that has possibility but I would have to get rid of my Note 9 and Im not quite ready to do that. Its the last great Note Samsung came out with...
I am looking for the cleanest way to run/hide wiring for using AA and Car Play...I have a very irrational fear of exposed wiring so clean installs OEM are a must for me. I was hoping this group had some solid installs hiding the charging wires in the console or the dash.
Thanks
Could not agree more on the weatherproofing...WIth other options out there I simply think they have missed the mark on their offering. I do wish (and it might) the insane audio unit didnt have the logo on the front or it can be turned off, just not a fan.
My question for this is does the head...
Good question, I didnt even look at it before putting into my trailer. I will take a look and let you know. I do know it was simply listed as dual top on the sticker.
I just picked up my 21 Mojave with dual top...I will never use the soft top so Im looking to sell it. I will update with pics on Monday but the Gladiator has 5000 miles on it and most all have been with the hardtop, most of the soft is still in boxes. PM for details...
