  1. Motobilt vs Rugged Ridge Build Quality

Fantastic looking rig. That bed is in my future :)
  2. Motobilt vs Rugged Ridge Build Quality

Steel-It can be great, but it can also get expensive quickly at nearly $40 per can. I prefer having the bumpers powder coated if you have a decent shop that can do it for you. You might find that it's actually cheaper than Steel-It and you don't have to do it yourself :)
  3. Motobilt vs Rugged Ridge Build Quality

The Motobilt stuff I have seen has been of a much better quality than Rugged Ridge. Motobilt is typically going to cost more and you'll also have to have it finished/coated as they ship their parts in bare metal. IMHO, the added cost is worth it though as their products will take a beating.
  4. Anyone have two gladiators?

How about a Gladiator and two Wranglers? :)
  5. Tortolita Pass Trail (Catalina Mountains) - Oracle/Marana/Tucson, AZ

Researching the area now. Looks gorgeous and the trails look like they would be quite a bit of fun. Added to my "To Do" List :)
  6. Tortolita Pass Trail (Catalina Mountains) - Oracle/Marana/Tucson, AZ

I have not, but will absolutely look into it. Appreciate the recommendation!!
  7. Tortolita Pass Trail (Catalina Mountains) - Oracle/Marana/Tucson, AZ

Decided to try out Tortolita Pass in the Catalina mountains outside of Tucson, AZ. Was an absolutely stunning trail! Made it through, with a bit of search and discovery, and assistance from GAIA, in about 4 hours total. The trail begins in Oracle/Oro Valley, AZ and comes out near Marana, AZ just...
  8. Steering drift and "diving" into the turn after RPM steering install

I was having some drift and even the occasional full on death wobble after I went to the APEX equivalent of you RPM steering setup. Chased down everything possible. All steering components checked multiple times for any looseness, verified new Falcon stabilizer wasn't loose or worn, verified all...
  9. Rear Bed Sliders / Protection

Went with the LoD Destroyer series rear bumper with optional bed sliders.
  10. Oracle Flush Mount Tail Lights Issues

Unfortunately, I appear to have the situation others are having with one faulty taillight. My driver side taillight and brake light are out, but the reverse light appears to work fine. Factory LED package. I swapped in my factory LED taillight, and everything works fine. Reconnected the Oracle...
  11. Screen Protector

No issue with mine. Tempered glass, looks great, fits well, less fingerprints, and best of all, protects the screen from gnarly dust and sand scratches. With the cost of head units these days, $10 is a fantastic way to protect your investment.
  12. Stickers and decal pics!

No, I grab another set of hands to assist. I'd like to put a hoist in the garage though to make it a one person job.
  13. Control arms

Sounds like you were told both will ride better :) You're in the Vegas area, all the arms recommended are top tier. I'd assume there is an off-road club there. If so some of the members may have the control arms you are considering, perhaps you could get some seat time with some of them. Would...
  14. Control arms

Clayton, Metalcloak, Teraflex, RK are all good options for adjustable control arms. Currently running Clayton on the Gladiator. Had Metalcloak on my JKU, Metalcloak on my current TJ and RK on one of my older TJs. Clayton arms are massively beefy and fit in style/color wise with the Gladiator a...
  15. Falcon SP2 3.3 Adjustment

For daily road use, I run soft and turn the dial to 2.2. Offroad, I run soft and have the dial on 1.
  16. After market control arm NVH

Metalcloak and Clayton are ones I have experience with. You can't go wrong with either.
