Yes, you can run 35's on a Rubicon without a lift. I ran 37's for a bit before I decided what lift to go with. You can also play on your rocks in Sedona in stock form :) This was before I put the 37's on.

How do you turn it on without an aux switch or the included toggle switch?

Pretty sure the fuse tap is for "Off-road Mode" which turns on a massive amount of bright light you wouldn't use in normal day to day use. At least, that's what mine does.

Finished up the install of the Diode Dynamics Elite Max headlights. Very, very solid and a nice upgrade over the factory LEDs. Love the amber DRL option and the turn signal functionality.
