Thats a statement I don't understand.
Both are forms of borrowing? I can understand financing, def of (my interpretation only)
"Borrowing money from some entity to finance a purchase with the end result of full ownership of an item".
But leasing is basically renting something long term...
Great advice.. Next question whats your yearly salary??
With your list of vehicles I'd say it's high.
All your arguments are great if your a successful business owner.
Most people aren't ...me I'm a working stiff....a well payed stiff .......but a stiff none the less...Most people on this...
When you think about it there isn't much load on the jeep maybe 4-5K tops.Rock racer/bouncer isn't extremely heavy.
And look at how the ass squats and the nose is high in the Glad.
I've driven both the JL and JT neither impressed me enough to purchase one.
I did however purchase a second Trackhawk for the wife.
I'm glad I hung up on the Launch Edition phone call.
But others will like them.
It's a great half ton Jeep pickup.
As I figured, the Glad needs a V-8 or a big torque diesel to be a towing vehicle.
At least it doesn't strain to haul plywood.....unless your trying to haul 7000 pounds worth...
Well what do I know.????????
Well been divorced three times.... been bankrupt once..bet the family farm once and lost.
Came close to living in my car several times...
Then read a couple books on gaining wealth.. followed solid rules....laid down by smarter people before me... like don't...
Wow my 700+ HP Trackhawk averages 16-17 MPG highway (and I drive it like I stole it ) and around town can get 13 driven easily racing stop light to stop light. Granted I have 305's which are one 20 inch rims.. maybe a 30ish tire.
So lets do some math...Lease for 36 Months (pick a number) some money down (pick a number) You have to guarantee not driving beyond a certain number (pick a number).. if all goes correctly your saying you get to "rent" the vehicle for that time.
At the end of that time ...IF you want to own the...
What your really missing getting the manual is the ability to not work hard in stop and go traffic. I can't imagine with how good the auto transmissions are today why anyone would want a manual.
(And i learned to drive a manual when I was 11 and I'm near 60 now. My first new Jeep CJ7 I ordered...
But at the end of the day you own nothing no equity ...the argument can be made its easy to get rid of the vehicle after..but you have to have faith something big doesn't happen in all those months.
Me I always buy,,, I own it better or for worse.
Its great if you have a business to take the...
I haven't compared fuel economy yet but my hunch is a 5.7 with MDS will meet or beat the V-6.
i looked it up and was correct and the etorque meets the V-6 mileage wise. And 100 horsepower more.
Dimension wise the Glad is 218 inches long the Ram 1500 is 229 inches so the Glad is 10 inches shorter.
Width for the Glad is approx 74 inches and the Ram 1500 is 79 inches. height wise the same.
The argument of a full size pickup against the Glad is pretty much moot.......at least for the wife...
Its a free country.. that why its called a dealership basically Jeep sells the vehicle to the dealer..the dealer then sells to you.
And they can charge whatever they want.
If you want a lower price..... shop around. ...............Its Easy.
