I'm not informed about trails near WS or Charlotte, but there are tons of Forest Roads and more challenging options a little more west. Such as in the Pisgah Forest region in Caldwell, Burke, and McDowell counties. Gaia GPS or something similar can show you where.
I'm considering the JCR half rack, to mount in front of a GFC camper. I'm not sure if it will fit mounted over the front. Also, not familiar with their quality.

So after 3 weeks plus at the dealer, I have the truck back. The window was replaced. During the process, the body-colored top was damaged by the body shop the dealer used. They repaired the damage, as well as a few scratches that were already there. Ordering the replacement window was the cause...
Dealer said replacement glass is ordered and is supposed to come directly from the manufacturer. They estimate 4-5 days. We'll see. They also said the top was scratched during removal, but will have it fixed too. I believe the tech said the leak was between the gasket and glass, not the body and...
Dealer mentioned a glass and seal replacement, that the window vender had replaced several for other local dealers. I'm the first for my local dealer. Nothing was said about how the replacement would be handled. I did take detailed photos of the top before dropping off. This is not the dealer...
I believe mine was built 8/19 and I purchased 11/19. I dropped it off at the dealer Wednesday. The window vendor is supposed to look at it today. The dealer said it was leaking near the top transition, which is what I told them before. I should know something next week.
Dropped mine off at the dealer today. I made it clear that I didn't want any temporary caulking fix, so we'll see. I expect a long process, especially if a replacement is planned.
Purchased 11/30/2019
21010 miles in 9 months. I have a 100 mile round trip commute. 2/3 are highway and 1/3 curvy 2 lane. I'm trying to drive our Subaru, but not as much fun.
It is still stock, but the Mopar lift, AEV wheels, 35", steel bumper/winch and GFC all planned in next 6 months...
I had my LJ in for some axle work and mentioned my leak to the dealer service staff. They said they had not heard this was an issue, but would take a look and see. So, they have no information from FCA. It took me 2+ weeks to have an axle seal replaced, so I'll have to wait a few weeks before...
If you were to remove the panel again, how would you recommend approaching it to avoid breakage? I'm really just interested in removing the storage box on the driver's side, so just need to remove the large panel for that. Thx
Does anyone know how and/or in what order the rear plastic panels can be removed? I'm interested in removing the small storage box against the rear bulkhead, driver's side. It is fastened under the entire vertical panel. Thx
I have a CFX 75DZ. It's huge, but was on sale and no more than a 50. It'll fit with that section removed. I could place in the bed, but have other plans after my GFC is done. Thx
No worries, I was hoping there was some secret that I was missing. I need to remove the section in order to be able to mount my fridge sideways. I have the Goose Gear platform. I'm kinda ashamed for not trying to make my own platform. Your build is great, including your DIY seat delete. Thx
Can you explain the steps to remove the plastic storage compartment on the drivers side? What comes off in what order? I must be too dense to figure it out. Thx
I have noticed a few drops now and then. Being a longtime Jeeper, I know most all removable tops leak. But, last night the JT was left out in a heavy storm, instead of being garaged, and the rear area is soaked. It is leaking all across the top of the window, wet under the black trim all across...
