I can't imagine how ACC should work properly with manual transmisson.
At least unless you have a very light car with a very powerful engine (e.g. Corvette).

I can fully understand the desire of having the lockers.
But I would also state that they are not really required, my car is equipped with the rear LSD and I got (up to now) never stuck.
And if you feel later on that driving without lockers is not possible you can still retrofit.
Have to admit that up to now I didn't knew about that option. And I think I will continue to turn it back. But good to know that it's no problem if I forget to return ...

Funny thing is that they sold the JT here in Europe only with the Diesel. And of course it is now discontinued.

That's true for Japan. Not for Europe.
Here, in the most countries it's 10%.
In some countries, e.g. Italy, some times service fee is added to the bill by default which is for me a reason not to tip.
I personally tip 10% with a cap of 50 $. Of course only if the service is good.
