  1. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) on manual transmission Jeeps?

I can't imagine how ACC should work properly with manual transmisson. At least unless you have a very light car with a very powerful engine (e.g. Corvette).
  2. Opinion on trading 2022 JTR for 21 JTRD

Congratulations. And maybe you come to the conclusion that having the gasser together with the diesel is the best choice. 🍻
  3. I did a thing over the weekend

Nice color and I agree that LSD is a must.
  4. Jeep CEO admits last CEO was bad

The first statement is correct, the second is just wrong. In Germany about 10 persons are freezing to dead per year and these are mostly homeless people. The last winter where 100 thousands were dying was 1946/47, reasons for that are known. Talking about reliability, I live in my current home...
  5. Opinion on trading 2022 JTR for 21 JTRD

I can fully understand the desire of having the lockers. But I would also state that they are not really required, my car is equipped with the rear LSD and I got (up to now) never stuck. And if you feel later on that driving without lockers is not possible you can still retrofit.

  8. What brand of torque wrenches do you all like?

For above 100 NM, I use a Hazet, between 20 and 100 a Rahsol (since more than 30 years) and for bicycle works I have two Proxxons.
  9. Question on IBS when trickle charging over a few days.

I would say no. But as far as I understood the IBS functality, it will calculate the status of charge and status of health after each start of the vehicle and should therefore have the correct parameters after restart. My car is, as long as it's sitting in the garage permanently hooked to the...

Arround 5620, including half tank and driver (180). Stock apart for trailer hitch. That's already about 200 more as stated in the papers.

  14. In Australia - Where are the Jeeps?

The Jt is discontinued in Europe. Jeep is not selling it through official dealers here anymore.
  15. In Australia - Where are the Jeeps?

Funny thing is that they sold the JT here in Europe only with the Diesel. And of course it is now discontinued. Maybe the managment is getting bonus for doing as much wrong as possible.
  16. O

Reminds me on " That scag and his floozie, they're gonna die! "
  17. New Gladiator, (kinda) the same as the old Gladiator.

Congrats to the new Gladiator. And, btw, you didn´t aged that bad. You are actually looking like one of my famous actors (somehow, at least).
  18. O

That's true for Japan. Not for Europe. Here, in the most countries it's 10%. In some countries, e.g. Italy, some times service fee is added to the bill by default which is for me a reason not to tip. I personally tip 10% with a cap of 50 $. Of course only if the service is good.
