While you are correct, With the standard decision for singles at $14,600 and married at $29,200, the average American no longer has enough schedule A deductions to itemize.
A lot of the Rubicons have these transfer cases now and are still 4:1. I thought that the clutch system was only for the auto, and the other two 4wd positions would not use the clutches…anyone know for sure? If the auto transfer case sucks, there’s always an atlas case…
Our property is in the...
I’ve had a mix of both panels, fixed and portable, I dont always want to mess with portable panels unless I’m going to be in one spot more than 1-2 days. Even on our big motorhome now I have a mixture of both fixed and portable…
Wow, if that comes true, I will pay someone good money to remove everything DEF related on the F550 chassis used on my motorhome. The 6.7 Turbo is the best motor we have ever had in a motorhome, but I HATE dealing with DEF.
I’m familiar with the RCV Units, but not familiar with the stock CV axles that apparently come with the transfer case with the “Auto” position. Are these stock CV axles any good?
I have CV axles on my 47, and checked them when I replaced the chipped ring and pinion two years ago, and they are...
…it would be good to read the fine print on lifts and bigger tires…BEFORE you buy the warranty. Don’t rely on anything said verbally…in writing is what matters…
We have had a ton of camping rigs, from class A to off road adventure trailers, so have a good perspective of what we like. I’ve added pictures of the three comparable rigs we have had.
First, good choice on your trailer. I like the bed on the side, gives you a lot of interior room. You can...
We enjoy a lot of adventures, so need to prep the new 2024 Gladiator for camping and sleeping. We have an Adventure motorhome with 41 inch tires, 4x4, lockers, winch, etc that we use on a lot on adventures, but we also need a rig for the BDR trails that are too narrow or technical for the...
I installed the RK 4 link on system on my sons Gladiator, that system rocks and worked flawlessly on the Rubicon. my 2024 is getting a RK lift as well.

Well, I have worked with three dealers and my brother traveled in a motorhome so visited dealers all over the country and got the same response from Jeep when it came time to approve the warranty repair, so this IS NOT a dealer problem. It’s a systemic Jeep brand problem.
Jeep Warranty is almost useless…
When I bought my 2014 4 door Rubicon, I bought the 1 million mile, $0 deductible Jeep warranty, and my brother picked his jeep up the same day with the same warranty. Before I lifted my jeep, I had a few problems, and the simple, cheap items were fixed…trac...
Towing a heavy trailer might be OK with stock tires, but my son was not happy towing a 5000 pound travel trailer with 37 inch tires. Fortunately for him, I can setup new gears, so I swapped to 5:38 gears. Tons better, but he still wants more power.
My oldest son bought a new Gladiator in 2022, and immediately pulled it onto my lift in the shop. Three weeks later (and a lot of money) we were headed towards the Rubicon with his Gladiator on a Rk 3 inch X Factor lift with 4 link, 37 inch Baja Boss tires, skids, bumpers, etc. I was skeptical...
Planning to use KMC 549 wheel, but used method wheels on my 4 door that accepted a steel rock ring. I scratched the heck out of a set of wheels on the Rubicon trail…
My Gladiator is brand new, so this is the strategy I have followed on my JKs and will follow on my Gladiator. Except for the Drag Link, everything comes from Napa Auto, and I try to buy middle of the road pricing, not the cheapest. Drag link is a Rock Krawler unit, so bought an extra one from...
Nice build thread. I didn’t have good luck with KM2 tires on the Rubicon, as they kept bleeding air past the bead. I ended up running most of the Rubicon at 29 pounds…yes, it sucked. However, I was not running bead locks, but still, the sidewall shouldn’t flex so much that it bleeds air below...
