I’d be interested in your opinion after more use, time. I did not mind so much the first few days. I was truly open-minded and was interested in how well it would work.
I will admit that I have grown to hate this feature as much as I hate telemarketers. I don’t use the word “hate” lightly...
DO GET
LED lights
Aux switches
The value is there for these without any doubt in my opinion.
I strongly suggest the remote keyless entry, fob stays in your pocket. That has been much handier than I ever thought.
The rest really depends on your use and taste. I have the LE which has...
It was too hot yesterday to finish the wiring. Frankly, it was too hot to snap another picture. Dang, I’m getting old. I’m embarrassed to admit I didn’t finish the job in one go. Maybe I should have told a little white lie instead, like, “I ran out of film in my iPhone.”
I went with some side steps that replaced my Rubicon rails. Only 800 miles of engine break-in. The rails haven’t been banged scratched or damaged. Hardware included, none of that was reused for my steps. Prefer Houston area to avoid shipping.
Update: new price is $200 after seeing other...
I finally broke down and parted with the cash for Rock Slide Engineering steps and got them mounted in the 100 degree heat. I think I’m getting old...
I really like the wide step on top and that it will help mitigate road grime and debris on the sides of the truck. The flat top helps me exit...

I was just looking for a Rubicon when I found this. I’ve never played...
A little family get together. A 2001 TJ, 1967 Kaiser Jeep M715 (military version of the Gladiator), 2020 Gladiator LE, 2012 JK Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Rubicon, and another 2001 TJ that has had lots of fun.
I stumbled across this pic which looks like what you are after. My steel bumper bracket is very similar but the bumper profile is a bit different. This bracket fits deeper over the top of the bumper. The steel bumper bracket has a very shallow profile cut and pretty much just sticks out front of...
Talk to your dealer. One should be provided. I have the factory bracket for my steel bumper that I will not be using. Talk about a fugly afterthought... I mean FUGLY. It doesn’t cover the holes that get exposed by removing the winch delete plate. I went aftermarket and just received my Maximus...
Kudos for a couple of references. The video answered a question I never asked. I’ve always known the fuel needed for startup is no big thing. I have had to futz with old carbs enough to know much isn’t needed.
The DoE doc was interesting but I think if you read closely, there is no big win...
Again, respectfully, where is it mandated that FCA/Jeep has no choice regarding the default vs. remembered setting? I think we all understand the government entities driving these kinds of actions. I’m not an FCA hater, just trying to find the facts.
Like @rafaelsmith noted above, real stats...
