Yeah my insurance premium started increasing every 6 months since 2022⦠to date itās been 57%⦠Iāve had 0 accidents and 0 incidents that would cause my rates to sky rocket⦠just a federally mandated service that we must purchase from a 3rd party whose in it to make money and deny you as much as...
Yep no issues a few weeks in. Drove to Kingman AZ today with some steep passes this weekend, Southern Utah last weekend and all is in order.
I saw temps of 103 and 107 in the last week already. /shrug
What about empty? Iāve heard mixed results with 37ās and 4.88 freaking the truck out when itās in 4th gear before getting across an intersection.
It was hot as balls out todayā¦. Anyways got my motobilt vents back from powder coating.
Also⦠it is kind of insulting we get 0 insulation in these other than some cheap carpet on a $60,000 truck. Since Iāve decided Iād like to retire some day, I didnāt jump on the armorlite wagon quite yetā¦...
Yeah⦠I suppose this is one of those ādo I buy light bars before lockers?ā conversations. I also want to do better insulation and armorlite flooring as Iām sure youāre aware as well, the floor boards get super hot in warmer temps too.
Any pics of your install?
My phase II consists of a 3.5 inch lift, beadlocks, 39ās, truss, RCVās, ball joints and a regear to what Iām not sure yet.. might be 4.10ās if 4.30ās donāt exist then because 4.55 I think would be too tall.
Unless vehicles share parts⦠why canāt they be at least some what original? Nissan did this with the Xterra, Path Finder, Armada and Titan back in the day too. Makes the whole line up feel like it has a little less personality. Toyota is continuing to do it now.
To be fair, there are only two...
That's usually how I see it work. Sometimes if it is so cut and clear the insurance will just cut you a check for your deductible right back to you.. or at least I've seen it happen multiple times on simple fender benders where the at fault party won't respond or denies responsibility.
I canāt speak for the trade in aspect, I just purchased my truck from them back in 2021. I think itās like 3-5% below invoice without the finance incentive. They just ask you make payments for 6 months on essentially a loan they purchased for cheaper so they can get a bit of a kick back from the...
Iāll have to dig up your other posts to see exactly what you did exactly. Did you self install?
I just removed the engine cover and hood insulation and am waiting to pick up my motobilt vents from the power coat shop this week.
Iāll be getting a ā24 grill soon as I can save the green for it...
Youād have to finance through them but @12psi does 8% below invoice on in stock and sold orders⦠should be about 15%. Sounds like you need a Mojave X.
Glad it was settled.
Iād imagine it still kind of blows. Putting myself in similar shoes, know my JT itself was around that much. I wouldnāt be able to replace my diesel as it is no longer an option. Beyond that, I have probably another $12-$15k in mods and itās nearly paid off at this point...
I pull that somewhat regularly in the summer in my boat on 37ās. Not sure Iād regear even still. 4.88 will be too tall for 37ās in my opinion for all the months that you arenāt towing a trailer in the Ozarks⦠again, my opinion. But thatās worth what you paid.
