Have you tried the manual recalibration method that some speak of - turning the wheel to full lock left then full lock right and back to center and cycle the ignition off then back on and check the angle to see if a reset occurred. Never tried this myself but one had posted this on another JL...

If the vehicle thinks that the steering angle is at “24 degrees” then the issue lies in the recalibration of the steering angle sensor…..especially if updated suspension parts have been installed( new info!). Of course this is assuming your current scan tool that tells you 24 degrees changes...
