My 22 JTR wallowed at highway speed. Rocked back and forth like a boat on a no wake zone. I added air bag in the rear. The e bags helped a little. I then installed Bilstein 5100in the front only. These are the 0-1.5 lift.
They made a huge difference. I have the Bilstein 5100 for the back on...
I cannot confirm it would work, but if I were to try this, I would run 2 3/8" lines tying the 2 tanks together. One line at the bottom and the other at the top. The bottom line to transfer fuel and the top to breath. Let the 2 tanks "self balance" the fuel levels. No need to deal with the...
I just finished a 1600 mile round trip from Philadelphia PA to Savannah GA this past week in a '22 JTR. Prior to the trip, I installed new Bilstein 5100's in the front. The factory Fox shocks were too soft in my opinion. I also installed the Terra Acoustic front speakers.
My advice is to get...
Stop tail turn reverse in the rear bumper.
I had OEM retrofitted fog light s/t/t light that utilized the eurospec WK2 fogs that were plug and play off the tail lights
I feel like my JTR wallows at highway speed. Rocking back and forth (left/right).
I am thinking about going with the Clayton 1.5 leveling kit for higher spring rates.
What size tires came from the factory and what is the goal for size?
I had my previous JKU regeared from 3:73 to 4:56. Started with the factory 255/75/17 and went to 34’s.
4:10 to 4:56 or 4:63 isn’t that much of a change.
I actually question if it is worth the money.
If considering 4:63, go with 4:88
But to answer your original question.
I would pass on 4:63 in case you ever had a gear problem in the future. Parts availability may be an issue.
