Iāve got something similar. Usually it seems to come from the lights in the sound bar. Putting my hand on it will fix it for a minute. Iād also like to see if you come up with a fix.
So Iām definitely going to contact Jeep cares on this one. I called the dealer the next day last week and asked what brand and type of oil they use and was told Penzoil platinum as recommended by Jeep. Iām also going to go ahead and just keep doing my own oil changes. I never had any problem...
Price is definitely down there. I ended up making some, 1/2ā foam board and leather pattern marine grade vinyl look killer and the cheap Amazon sound dreading worked great for me.
So like a few have said, 3āfreeā oil changes Iāll take it and do the rest myself. Time has been an issue lately and when the crappy dealer is 2 miles from work and thereās no problem finding a ride Iāll take it.
I did call the dealer today and ask what they use for oil changes and was told for...
Thatās what I figured with the capacity, higher smaller pan for clearance. I think Iām going to get a fumoto now, I like doing my own oil changes but figured Iād already paid for the first three changes so I might as well use them.
Maybe it was some type of bio-sun, and thatās why Iām asking yāallās opinion but shouldnāt the dealer be using penzoil or mopar? The more suspicious thing is that ābothā times the oil has been changed itās been a solid quart overfilled. I donāt think any damage has been done, it seems like some...
TLDR:
1. Dealer #1 overfilled engine oil. Other 3.6l use 6 qts and thatās what they put in mine. Gladiator uses 5 qts.
2. Looks like dealer #2 didnāt actually change my oil
So last night I decided to pull the dipstick and check my oil level as the life was getting to 10% and wanted to see if...
Iāve used my free glass this year once already. I told safelite I wanted gorilla glass, had to call two times to make sure they ordered it but finally got it. Iād recommend it for sure.
Iāve got an appointment tomorrow for this. I noticed mine leaking last week. 12.5k miles build date march-21. Winner winner chicken dinner.
Whatās the repair? Just pull the axle and new seals?
I wonder if it has to do with LSD? Do the limited slip axel have more issues? Built in one batch maybe?
I know what sound your talking about. I grew up in KC and went to college in Denverā¦many trips in my 02 TJ with the hard top or soft top. Radio cranked to the max for 10 hours. I just built some diy liners from the forum...
