    Thanks Whiteglad. I too had been looking deeper into the 'cosmetic" aspects of the vents and as you have found, just puts dirt and water where they were never intended to be.

    I have about 3,000 miles on the truck. I live in Oklahoma and there are some hills. Highway speed limits 75 here and I keep it at 75. Sometimes wind can be an issue.
