Sounds like they just need to “loose” their keys twice and it’s break even. Then they’ll have 4 fobs.
I’d put those extra two in a safe in case you do actually lose one.
Not a dealer add-on I’d want, but when compared to nitrogen in the tires it certainly has some intrinsic value.
Ditto.
The 2-cycle oil/gas mix can I have for my chainsaw and trimmer is over 2 years old (possibly 3 years now that I think about it). It works just fine. It is amazing how long gas will store with Sta-Bil, ethanol-free gas, in a well sealed container.
That's odd. In my part of the state it's the opposite. Fewer stations have ethanol-free gas, and the ones that do only care 87. Every place sells E-10 in 87, 89, and 91 octane.
Either way, the only thing I run is ethanol-free gas in my lawn tools. And that is simply because the smaller engines...
The diesel is interesting, but I have no regrets about having gone with the gasoline engine.
All my other vehicles are gasoline engines, I understand how those works, the towing capacity is higher, the maintaince cost (and initial purchase cost) are lower on the gas engine, and it's an overal...
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but if I'm following this disucssion correct then it is safe to use a NOCO genius charger on the JT. Simply connect it to the primary battery as usual, and since the two batteries are wired in parallel the charger will "do the right thing".
Sound about right?
My 2008 JK Unlimited is all manual (windows, door locks, transmission). Complete base model.
I love the 6 speed, and I rarely have the doors on, so the lack of power windows/locks isn’t a big deal.
For my gladiator I wanted something different. Something my wife could drive (she’s too short to...
Nope, you’re not alone. I’ve got a Rubicon, with cloth seats, and mine came with a gray dash.
I actually prefer the gray dash. I feel like the red one would clash too much.
who said anything about MSRP being a deal?
also, you said TL saves you $500, and as I mentioned that is not true. It saves you several grand vs MSRP. Comparing TL to invoice isn’t reasonable as most dealers don’t advertise invoice, nor do negotiations start at invoice. All pricing starts at...
That's incorrect.
You don't need the FCA control number until you take delivery - much like rebates don't apply until you take delivery.
As far as the tread lightly 1% discount - that's much more than $500.
From the JT Rubicon I just bought, it had a sticker of $53,240 (before delivery fee)...
That's odd how 5th & 6th on the JT manual are both OD gears. Also odd how closely spaced they are - I'm curious what the point of even having a 6th gear is at that point.
My 2008 JK is a manual, and @SteveInOrlando you're right about reverse being a tall gear. Even with 5.13s I feel like I have...
Just had this happened on my JT. First fill up ever, and it burps gas back out at me the moment it hits the first click.
My 2008 JK had a recall over this, and never had a problem after they replaced the gas tank. Hard to believe Jeep hasn’t learned anything.
Ditto for a soft top that folds down in a proper way. I wanted a soft top JT SOOO bad, until I saw the half assed folding mechanism, and decided to just do a hard top until the aftermarket designs a proper soft top.
The top needs to fold all the way down into the bed.
Purchased mine Saturday. It had 50 on the clock - 2 of which were mine. A little higher than I'd preferred, but it was literally the last Nacho Rubicon in the whole state, had most of the options I was looking for, was 8% below invoice, and was CLEAN
In another thread I’d read that it was only available from Dec 8th 2020 to Feb 15th 2021 (or something like that). Just 2.5 months.
The same thread also mentions that just 1,400 Nacho colored Gladiators were made. Rare color.
I got lucky. This one had sat on their lot for a while, and just hadn't sold. In my area a good 90% or the JLs and JTs have painted fenders & tops, so anything without that is a lame duck. That helped. It also helps it's late in the model year.
In my case it was simply the advertised Internet...
