I fly for free (points) and run my own company, makes my hours flexible. Not worried about opportunity cost. Realize I am more fortunate in that aspect than others. Non the less, I am a consumer looking for the best deal. Also hate the idea of paying taxes in general so any chance I get to screw...
Went from 7% to 6% off real quick. What happened? Was stoked about the possibility of ordering close to home for a 2022 JTRD. Additional 2% that we now pay tax and interest on compared to Gupton. $1200 - $1400 in total additional savings has me leaning towards making the TN road trip.
That’s 9% on MSRP not invoice. Gupton in TN gave me the same OTD on a $63k MSRP. Most guys are getting 13% off MSRP or more. Honestly not worth going to any other dealer.
I keep coming back to the forum all day waiting for some kind of miracle to happen. Needs to drop soon, July 14th got my hopes up way too high. That and I keep watching bronco videos cause they are all over YouTube right now
For those of you waiting on Gecko color.... Looks like a limited edition run for 2021

Not expecting them to showcase a 2022 Gladiator unless there was a major platform change like a new power plant. However since they are showcasing the 2022 Wagoneer they might say something like: "2022 orders are now open across all platforms with the Wagoneer leading the charge."
2022 hopes .. Im not picky but... a hellcat engine, 3.5" lift, 37s, half doors, cooled power seats, 12 inch screen from the factory at base model price with lifetime warranty will do it.
In reality id settle for a uconnect 5. Hate wires. Any luck my order will be in July 14th at 10:01 EST
Chicago auto show July 14th, the jeep press conference at 9:30 am ... that our best hope? Imagine they need to say more than 2022 is available. Have a feeling the larger tire package will be out for Gladiator too.
Please share your contact at the dealer and any details on the deal. Did this include FCA control # discount and dealer financing discount? Wondering if they will match Gupton's 8% off invoice.
Yep fee went up 1/1/21. I assumed the excel sheet was up to date and never checked the order sheets. Either way he is going to try and lock my incentives in too. I will be ordering today. Glad you said they shuttled you from the airport, I may need to ask about that.
Turns out I was working off an old excel file from the forum. Just needed some slight updates. I will say Daniel has been responsive. I've ping him about 6 times with a million questions and he answered all within 5 min of each email.
So it appears the JTR MSRP has increased by $325 according to Gupton, from $43995 to $44320. And the document fee is $499 now and not $399. Do I push back? Close to $300 increase in cost with tax.
If you don't mind me asking... what was your interest rate? I've done all the math and my best bet is dealer financing at 60 months as long as the rate is below 2.9%.
I think I am doing the same. Searching everywhere on the threads but there is no competing with Gupton. Nashville here I come. Nice 800 mile break in drive back.
