Do yourself a favor, go with a professional PDR service if you want it done right. I did the hot glue kit on a door dent few months back, it made it a bit better but you can definitely see it is still there.
Honestly cheaper to trade in and get Auto with max tow if you are planning to pull a trailer regularly. From multiple stick shift vehicles I have owned over the years JT is on the bottom of the barrel when it comes to clutch and gearing.
Haha I’ve been in same exact spot, riding rice rockets, swapping cars almost every year… With Gladiator it all stopped, I guess with age fast and dumb got replaced by slow and steady. Jeep does have a number of downsides, but smiles per mile outweigh them all.
These things never work as good as OEM. I did a retrofit to a bigger navigation screen on a BMW 3 series few years back. Buggy as hell, always had issues with connectivity, build quality comparable to a cardboard box. Unless it is offered as factory option I would steer clear…
I’m sure there will be lawsuits coming as manufacturers push customers. I understand stuff like remote start via app since you need to pay for the technical support, but things that are already bolted on the car is quite different story. Deere just lost on the right to repair battle . If not...
If you are close to oil change do that, check air filters, wiper blades, tire pressure, the usual stuff. Follow the manufacturer manual if in doubt, unless you are pushing the truck to the limit everything will be fine.
The real question is the truck going to catch on fire and self destruct at 30k miles if you don’t do it…. Jeep maybe. Just remember dealers need to make money somewhere, and bulk of it is out of warranty service. If you are really concerned about it find a reputable independent Jeep shop.
To answer OP yes, but most likely for a PHEV. My neck of the woods the charging infrastructure is not there yet. I also see a lot of comments from people who never actually drove an EV in their life, go test drive one than we wil talk like adults.
Calm down folks this is only a concept of what they envision will trickle down to Ram brand in coming years, aka more than half of this stuff will not make into production… I would say the only safe bet is that they are working on an EV ?
Correct Toyota does dealer allocation, there is no custom order with them. Before shortages they would just swap cars from one dealer to another dealer if you wanted anything specific. Anywhom looks like 4xe is here to stay, if gladiator goes to 2nd gen. we will surely see that option.
Next decade will be an automotive brand purge, with the EV technology and laws moving so rapidly many just won’t make it. My guess is whatever power plant we will see in the new Dakota will be the way Jeep goes. Heck they might just kill JT so it doesn’t compete with another mid size tuck in...
Paranoid much… most likely scenario is a store employee retrieving a shopping cart with RF id wheel lock. If the wheel is locked they have a little remote to unlock so they don’t have to drag it across parking lot. Sorry to break it to you like that, I know you gladiator fells special, but it is...
Definitely put the original radio back, even tough it is most likely not the issue, the dealer will look for any excuse to deny warranty claim since they can’t find the root cause. It looks like you got a lemon bud, I would go ahead and start the process.
That is pretty normal with spray in bed liner. Holes next to the cab supposed to have well nut bushings, if it is a new truck definitely have the dealer do it for you.
Few months back I was driving back with wife and kids, when I noticed a somewhat familiar brick shape approaching from the opposite direction. Back then I was happy maybe a little naive, not having a care in the world, a simple happy man. I slowly moved my hand to a 12 o clock position while...
