Was tempted, but Ford dealer told me 2 years for an order (not sure how accurate he was), and the package with heated seats kept deleting the manual because of the remote start. I like both, but eventually traded my 12 JKR on my ordered and delivered manual 22 JT Willys.
Don’t know too much about def, and don’t want to hijack, but I would spend months on a thread about our “fly-fishing” or “fishing” vehicles/builds ???
Traded 12 JK Rubicon with 60k miles, got a fantastic trade ($4500 more than first offer two years ago), got another Jeep with 0 miles, and I now have way more room for way more completely unnecessary fly fishing equipment!
Win win if you ask me ??
Absolutely ? ?
And although she’s in college now, my oldest daughter knew all the words to that most iconic Whitesnake song.
My wife thought there was something wrong with me for letting my then 3 year old sing “Slide it in” ?
THIS!!! ?
And I also made a paracord bracelet/strap to buckle my driver belt to the roll bar. Not sure if there’s something to clip it to on the seat.
As many have said (and have helped me understand as well), 5th and 6th are tall for my 3.73 Willys JT.
I had a 5 speed in the 98 TJ, a 6 speed in the 12 JKR, and I now I just tell people I have a 5 speed manual JT ??
And the wife’s new JL is exactly the same way but with 3.45.
I have had the exact same experiences here in central PA. Our Subaru and any of our LSD Jeeps/Gladiator were/are better than my 12 Rubicon with open diffs.
I’d still take the Rubicon if I’m off-road, but the others in normal snow/winter conditions.
Not sure if this is the best thread to ask (I did search), and if you want to give me a link, that’s good too ?
Brought my 2022 Willys home last Thursday, traded my 12 JKR. It’s a manual, so no remote start.
But cold weather and convenience ground.
Loving the heated seats and steering wheel...
