I have a JL, I know what JT's put on a JL will do. The same should work in reverse for JL's on JT.
I ran the JT rubicon's on my JL rubi. It dropped 3/4-1 and felt maybe softer, real close to the same rate. I just bought the Mojave spring as they are 1 inch or more taller over the JT rubi. Well...
Factory springs are $46-52 brand new online. Cheap and fast and no warranty issues.
If you are running factory bumper no winch go with 3.6 springs, winch and steel bumper 3.0's.
This might help you look at what factory springs can do.
I like to keep it factory, just working on the right springs for what I want to do. I added a winch too and problems started...
For the JT I can only help with the front. You want the 3.0 JLUR springs 3667. They will lift the nose back up...
I think that would be wishful thinking at that price.
The Rubicon shock is $505ea. MSRP I bought my set of 4 $175.
I could not see anyone buying at $2500 used non adjustable when you could get the Fox 2.5 with adjusters for the same price new in the box.
I like Dana/Spicer gears. I have ran used sets no problems ( keep it Dana/Spicer.)
You need to know a good pattern, and how to look at used gear sets. Remember ( on old Dana anyway ) they are numbered matched sets. I have seen to many unmatched set trying to be sold as good. This does not work.
That is correct. Works both ways as I know it. If US not covered out of US. Canadian out of Canada not covered.
This is only on FCA vehicles. Ford, GM can cross and honor warranties. I don't know about foreign automakers.
A few years back, I was going to buy an AEV JK350 with the Hemi. It was in Canada, still under FCA and AEV warranty. I called AEV and they said don't touch it, unless you are within a few miles of Canada. They said FCA is the only American Auto that is not covered over the borders ( north or...
Awesome Phillip !! Thanks.
Was reading Blake's post on the spacer lift. It sounds like the springs top may have changed from standard springs? The hydro bump stop may have required bigger opening?
Any chance you get a picture of the top of your stock springs. What coils did you use?
Sounds like they made a change in the top of the coil for the bump stop?
Need more info to help.
1. DW- check all steering joints, control arm joints, ball joints. Something is worn. Or bad tire.
2. Ride quality - You have a Rough Country lift? factory springs with spacers or RC springs? What shocks, what tire pressure are you running.
Too many unknown to give...
Eastern Washington. Yes, on my TJ with 33's:surprised:
WSP, think he just wanted to check my Jeep. No ticket, but gave me the same song about centerline of axle BS. I have a stock Ford 350 SD that has more tire from centerline of axle then the TJ on 33's.
Have not had any problems with my JLUR...
