Voltage is good on both wires so this can be a simple swap of parts. I found one part number for launch edition.
This part number is the one that replaces the passenger side. Cant find the drivers side. But you could buy this part number and swap the boards in the housings.

I renigged on that last statement. I believe this could be a sport s thing. Meaning we didnt get one. So that is my fault for jumping to that conclusion. Jeep has done this before when they cut the switch out of the truck bed for the lights back there. It's in the manual but there is no switch...
Possibly. Need a rubicon or maybe an overland to post up part numbers. I may just end up soldering in my own led if it's a lower model. Really sad to see such a small detail left out on the sport s. At least address this in the manual for the knob.
I have the highest pkg you can get for these interior lights. I have the convenience grp pkg 24s and the remote start, etc. They missed it plain and simple. Yes, oh my word, I checked every knob. *Slaps forehead. My ambient knob dims my door handles but not the footwell.
Those part numbers i...
I want to do the 35 spline with chromoly rear shafts, and the 32 spline arb chromoly up front giving me some bullet proof axles for 35s or 37s in the future.
EDIT
Update, I got custom 35 spline shafts from east coast gear supply and dutchman. The thread is here...
Maybe we can get some traction on this @JeepCares , I discovered the problem. There are two 12 v wires and a negative ground. The ambient knob controls the circuit on one light and the other is your dome light/footwell light. When these parts were made, they failed to solder in the second led...
Lol, this isn't your YJ or my old TJ. The passenger side is double shear, it wont wobble, ever. Double shear is when the bolt or pin is supported by two points of the bolt. The driver side is being swapped out with a quick disconnect stud from rubicon express. So the orange justice quick disco...
I pull my door retaining hardware on all my jeeps and throw a set of these "thread protectors" to protect the hinge, during install and removal of the doors, and to alleviate rust when installing and removing the doors. They are in the hardware section in the little drawers of home stores. They...
Subscribed and watched the Sumo Springs Super Springs install.
Replied with, "If you are finding your bump stop extensions are hard to unbolt from the mopar 2 inch fox lift kit, use a 4 inch c clamp from your local hardware store, inbetween spring coils, to hold it while you slide a half inch...
