yes to the manual. Right now it feels like this is how it should have come from the factory with my rubicon takeoff rims/tires (32.7 I think). I’m hesitant to go with a much bigger tire since then I’d feel the need to regear again lol.
If your goal is a 35”, id say go 4.88, 37 the 5.13. But if...
I regeared from 3.73 to 4.56. I am only on 33s, and kind of wish I went to 4.88. I’d like to get up to a 34-35 and a steel bumper, but I might end up being back to to not being able to hold speed uphill.
but I live in a mountainous area, so ymmv.

Recently regeared my manual trans and this will be the first time I’ve ever brought truck in with a Tazer.
Any idea if this software update will reset my gear ratio and tire size to stock?
Went ahead and did the 4.56 regear and added Rubicon takeoffs (32.7). 5th and 6th are issuable again even in the mountains. I was considering upgrading to a 34” tire, but it feels good now with the just the rubi stock 285/70/17.
I thought about 285/75/17 to get up to a 33.8”, but maybe I should...
6 speed manual overland in Very hilly in western Maryland. I recently regeared from 3.73 to 4.56 to go on my LE rims and 285/70/17 tires.
Loving the upgrade, I finally don’t lose speed and power so tremendously going uphill. Cruise is useable.
I had been considering upgrading to 285/75/17...
Im probably not being too serious, as I very much enjoy my glad, but it does seem like Ford might have a winner with their manual trans

I had kicked around the idea of trading my 20 overland on a 21 Mojave.... I moved to a mountainous area and the 3.73 gears aren’t cutting it in my 6mt. So rather than spend the money regearing, upgrading suspension, and getting new tires, it made sense for a minute to consider trading in...
invoice is allegedly the wholesale price the dealership pays for a vehicle from the manufacturer. It can be a little misleading in that there are other ways the dealer profits,
for example, the MSRP on my Jeep was 48,205, but the invoice came out to 45,733. They then took 5% off the 45,733...
any more thoughts on the 4.56 vs 4.88? I live in a mountainous area and the 3.73s are killing me with even the stock 32’s in my 6mt. I’d like to get up to a 34 tire and think I’d go with a 4.56....
Set of 4 wheels and tires. LocTed in Cumberland MD.
3 tires are at around 22000 miles, 1 has only about 8000. Sensors included. Rotated regularly, very little off-roading. Lots of life left. SL load range.
