No- nothing in front. Oil pan is still exposed.

Yes- that was the gas tank skid. It also has a tubular guard for the exhaust/catyalytic which got smushed as well. As far as sliders for the hitch/reciever, I don't think you'll actually damage >1/2" thick steel but a skid might help prevent hang-ups.

I love my JTRD... Pushes 40,000 lbs while carrying >1000lbs. I haven't towed anything yet but that doesn't sound right. I hope it works out for you!

How's the long-term review with 38's? Any axle work/gussets done? Gears? What are you doing for a spare? Thanks in advance.

I was on a paved forest road for the first time this weekend with some relatively "small" potholes and experienced this jarring problem too!!! Was only going approximately 25 mph and actively avoiding major potholes.
