  1. Idaho Wrangler 392 beadlock wheels

Lord I love those wheels. Free bump!
  2. Virginia FS: 2020 Mojave, S/C, 37’s, built, $55k

Where ever you go, be safe. Bummed BAF and the rest of the Stan are closed so I don’t get to go anywhere recently.
  3. 6,500 miles oil life still 32%

Honestly, it's been so long I can't remember. I THINK if I recall, Mobil 1 didn't have whatever flavor of certification required by the manufacturer of vehicle I was driving at the time.
  4. Dash Cam recommendations?

I've used the NextBase 322GW for a year or so now and I dig it. I've previously used a VanTrue N2 or something which was cool but the NextBase allows me to look at live data on my phone, pull video, etc. It's come in clutch twice since I've owned it.
  5. language

Did you recently move to where ever this atrocity happened? Regional differences could play a part because here in South Florida, you're not hearing, "Hey Folks" all that often. Aside from this being the worst rant I've read in a while, does it really...like REALLY affect you that much? I...
  6. 6,500 miles oil life still 32%

My $.02 after having my JT and previously a Colorado ZR2... Having been neurotic in a past life about fluid changes at insanely low miles on previous vehicles, with my 2014 JKU, I wanted actual data rather than, "I ran hard...let me change X". So I started sending oil samples to Blackstone. I...
  7. Do you even wheel ?

I LOVE wheeling. My JKU was the most fun I'd had in a vehicle since uh...high school! BUT...With the Gladiator, I'm slowly learning to be more responsible. The JKU got the lift, but then had to get beefier steering components, THEN changed ball joints many times. THEN regeared. wanted air...
  8. Thoughts on ARB sliders?

So these look similar to the Genright ones I had on my JKU. Yes, it was terrible drilling into the rub. I took my time, which was forever, because I drilled, painted the holes, then used silicone before I installed nutserts. With that said, my Genright's were aluminum and they were amazing...
  9. Interested in this Tire and Wheel combo, what do you think? Got some questions.

For what it’s worth, Thornbirds are an insanely loud tire and there are plenty of other tires quieter and longer lasting.
  10. AEV 2" Spacer Lift

So those spacers aren't poly? They're hard plastic?
  11. 1

gonna second this. If you can swing the cost of an inspection, just get it done without insurance for peace of mind. The second insurance is notified, it’s on a report. The rim, meh…I’d not sweat it. Again, these are personal decisions you need to make because WE aren’t YOU. As for dad, if you...
  12. Katzkin leather installed

It is the pullstrap. My Mojave came with the "upgraded" stitched leather Katzkin's and has the blue Mopar logo on the pull strap as well.
  13. Lemon Law: What Would You Do?

So I'll second this. After my JK, I purchased a ZR2 brand new. Fun little truck but from day 1 I had infotainment issues. I had taken it to the dealer 3 or 4 times and they replaced the unit, some harnesses, etc. and no sooner than I'd get out of the parking lot, the issue persisted. Such a...
  14. Gladiator on fire, burned to the ground…

Very much so -- and yeah, I dig the info for towing and have concluded I'll only tow a 100lb trailer with my kayaks.
  15. Gladiator on fire, burned to the ground…

Imagine being the fella who came in here to chime in with the truck in question being his, having to deal with a burned truck/canceled travel plans and whatever else entailed...Only to have a bunch of folks speculate on the cause of the fire....
  16. Rock sliders and their double duty. (Amusing story from today)

Glad the sliders are on! Next purchase — dash cam. this reminds of a time I’m parked at Firehouse subs with coworkers. Coming back to my JKU on 37s. We WATCH a lady try to park…hit my tire…backed up and ripped her SUVs bumper half off. She too was on the phone. So she parks about 10 spots down...
  17. New LOD Destroyer bumper!

if you’ve got ACE, heck, I like that the winch tucks between the rails, I’d stick with that.
  18. New LOD Destroyer bumper!

yeah. Factor 55 is on order so I can do so. I was concerned about UV but its pretty covered with the control box but I’ll likely get a cover anyway.
  19. New LOD Destroyer bumper!

So if you’ve noticed my ACE thread, last week marked 12 weeks awaiting a bumper I ordered from them. I finally had enough and canceled and called LoD Off-road. I’ve ran ACE, Genright, Rockhard, and more. So I call LoD and Shannon, I think, picks up and I ask about lead time. She tells me 3 are...
  20. Thoughts? Steinjager bought Ace Engineering assets

The LOD was by chance. Called to ask lead time and they said they’ve got 3 in stock so it was done! Especially after I was told free shipping and 10% off currently. My wish list was stubby with fog holes and winch compatible. I really wanted the winch between the rails but ill live. Used mine...
