Blah. Just spoke with John and I was hopeful after @Caspien post. Unfortunately he said, “the bumpers aren’t even in production and could be another 6 weeks” to which I replied that he told me that 6 weeks ago. He apologized and I’m sure he’s a nice enough guy but that’s it. Canceled my order...
Somewhere in the thread I believe they did. But, regardless, I think you’d be good just looking at the way it’s set up. Mine is the one for our trucks and it’s a a “perfect”/snug fit. If it was a full size, it might even be….perfect-er!
Not all heroes wear capes, bro! THANK YOU for that. It really does make me feel a bit better and I am impressed with what I see in these pics, versus their website. So yeah, next time I'm in St. Louis, beer is on me!
To OP....While I am bummed you're experiencing this, if you can find a different dealer, I'd give that a go. That advice in this forum is similar to the IT advice of, "Try rebooting." but still.
RE: your issue. While it's a longshot, my JKU had a heating issue. Not to the point of actually...
Woo hoo! that's rad! Today is 10 the 10 week mark and I e-mailed him at the nick@ace e-mail and nothing...Nothing either from my e-mail 2 weeks ago. I really hope you get your goodies and they're awesome!
lord. yesterday was 9 weeks for me.Shop I ordered from called and said, “3-4 more weeks”. I’m going to hold off a bit before going bananas since Rona is still thriving but I can say I’ll never order from them again.
Be careful. They sold their assets to Steinjager on June 4 and 3 days prior I asked if lead times on their site were correct (5-6 weeks). Tomorrow makes week 9 and crickets from Steinjager Since the cats at Aceturned their emails over to them, as well.
So the elephant in the room….just living off of the USCG retirement pay? Not knocking it but just jealous. My buddy is USN retired and is van lifing…originally in a VW bus! He’s on Instagram at @go_see.do. He stayed a few nights when they hit South Florida.
makes me wish I wouldve stayed in...
I'm sorry to hear that. This is absolutely terrible business the way they went out. I almost canceled my order today but holding off for the 10 week mark.
So just a quick shout out to OP….Thank you!!!
My tent delivered Friday so I set it up in the perpetual rainy South Florida weather to give it a look. Some coating peeled off which isn’t a biggie. My biggest test was a storm that came through last night. With the rain fly on, it was 100% bone...
I can't stand gaudiness but I LOVE attention to detail and fine craftsmanship. This goes against the grain for Jeep traditionalists but man, lots of work went into it and I can appreciate it.
