I have a QRC full-width front bumper on my JK. It was easy to install and it's solid. When I get a JT, I'll probably go with the mid/stubby version of the QRC as well.
A factory V8 mounted in the current Gladiator chasis will not pass crash test standards. It would take a significant redesign. This sounds like another "rumor it into existence" exercise.
I have a QRC like that on my JKUR (I've got the matching rear bumper too). It's a great, very solid bumper. When I get a Gladiator, I plan to put a QRC on it as well, but maybe the stubby instead of the full width.
